"Pretty good relative to a lot of the places in DTLA. It is a concrete building, so noise is not an issue, and the people there mostly keep to themselves but are all pretty nice. The bathtubs are out of control good, but I you probably should not take a bath as a Californian. The security is minimal with doormen only for certain hours in the evening. I had a lot of mail stolen and packages are a constant problem there. There is a good Facebook group with a lot of community type posts and invites. So many dogs here. I find that pretty sad because the dogs look so depressed walking back into the building (DTLA with a dog? Really? Do you like your dog?). The manager Danielli is not the greatest about responding and pretty aggressive when you are leaving. Count on loosing part of your deposit if you live here. Maintenance is slow. Pound for pound a decent option if you live downtown because it's not full of cheesy folks, but definitely look into some alternates for receiving your packages."

"I've never lived here but I will say one thing. I helping a friend look for an apartment. I left them 4-5 messages-atleast. The woman got back to me well over a week later. The woman said she was on vacation. So let me get this...if she's on vacation there is nobody to fill in. NOBODY? REALLY? She was probably busy eating pastrami sandwiches. If she is also the contact for tenants that have issues or concerns in the building...oh man..they are in trouble. Not cool."

"So you've been living in a hotel in West Hollywood for a few months and decide, 'Hey... I should probably start living like a real person as opposed to a Kardashian, huh?' Enter: The Judson. I've looked at numerous lofts in DTLA and simply put, there hasn't been one that has been comparable to the Judson. The cost is exceptionally reasonable (and I have far more space than the 350 sq. foot, $1,600 studios going in around this place!) and my unit is open, quiet and it feels like me... Definitely not your typical cookie cutter apartment or wanna-be loft space. Creative freedom is available and the on-site manager is very reasonable if you want to paint your walls or do that sort of thing. Although getting this place took some perseverance on my part, a bit of work never hurt anyone. The best part: it has yet to become the unofficial 'dorms' for the loud, pothead art students in the area... I'm hoping that doesn't change. Going on year 2 and I'm still happy. It's a smaller community and everyone has been genuinely nice & respectful of their neighbors. If you're a professional over 25, aren't in to loud parties and don't want to be surrounded by 18 year-old children, The Judson is DTLA's hidden gem. #BringingBackBroadway #DTLALofts"
