"Not so modern and luxury, but it's truly comfortable here. Incredible location with a river and ocean nearby - a dream place for cyclists and beach lovers. The internal landscape design is also very inspiring with a pool and green trees."
"I've lived in several different apartment complexes since moving here from WI 13 years ago. I was first attracted to this property due to it's pricing being so competitive in the market. Amenities like a pool, spa, gated community and garages add to the value as well. After taking a tour, I knew it would be a great home for me. I have now lived here a year and can say that all of the residents are very friendly. I enjoy having them as neighbors. The management and maintenance gets A+++ ratings as well. They are prompt and professional. Check it out and see for yourself!"
"It is a pleasant and quiet place to live. The staff is friendly and seem to work hard. The issue is the size of the rent increases. After 10 months here, I was given two options: pay about $175 more with a signed lease renewal or pay about $375 more on a month to month basis. Angry and confused tenants told me about the big rent increases on my move in day so I wasn't surprised. In fact, I never fully unpacked. I don't perceive my apartment to be at the higher market value apartment and neither do the owners. Same size units are listed at the pre-increase rate. I guess this is their business model but it makes living here feel like a long term hotel rental. Otherwise, no issues of significance."
"*UPDATE* Prices here have skyrocketed in the last two years. No longer a significant value, but slightly overpriced. The property manager also changed last year, and she is terrible to the tenants and enjoys making every possible issue as difficult as possible. Because of the spiked rent, and the abrasive property manager, I can't really recommend Westlake as worthwhile rental option other than if you really like the area of town like I do. *Old Review* --> Nicely remodeled, very professional, great maintenance. The street is very quiet because it ends at the nature preserve. Grounds are kept very well, every week. Pool and hot tub are always clean. Silver fixtures and hardwood floors make the apartments much more modern than comparable (and more expensive) nearby apartments. Each floor plan offers more sq footage than nearby apartments (in this price range) as well, and I've looked at nearly all of them."
