Regency Palm Court Apartments 914 South Wilton Place, Los Angeles, CA 90019

"Hello, I moved into the RPC in December of 2022 with a section 8 voucher. I was told that the apartment had been cleared for me to move in and it wasn't by Housing Authority City of Los Angeles, Section 8 department. I was so happy because I loved the cute little one bedroom apartment. I bought new living room & bedroom furniture. In February of 2023 I called the Housing Authority to ask were they paying their part of the rent on the apartment. They said that they don't have a record of me living at the RPC and they weren't paying any moneys until the apartment had been inspected. Section 8 came to inspect the apartment and it failed, because the smoke detector in the bedroom didn't work, (safety issue which was fixed that day.) In April of 2023 I was approved by the Housing Authority and Section 8 wanted me the landlord to sign a lease agreement, that never happen to this day. In the meantime Essx, the property owners are reaching out to me about back rent because they don't have a clue what the Regency Palm Court is doing. I have talked to numerous people from Essx/RPC and when they learn about my situation they go AWOL. It's like the know someone dropped the ball and no one wants to help me. I am a 70 y/o disabled man that has been worried about my housing for almost a year and a half. All was needed was a lease agreement when my section 8 case worker reached out in December of 2023. I came home on the 21st of February to fine a Essx EVICTION PENDING with back rent balance of over $15,000. Do not come to ESSX/REGENCY PALM COURT with a section 8 voucher because I am not the only one living here going through this. (this is the short version)"

"I truly do enjoy my apartment! But the management company is damn right disgusting ugly I could use a couple of other words but I refuse to I received a notice on my door yesterday I have a ring camera at 5:22 5 something the next day I've been calling them a 650 area code that's Galveston Texas why aren't you answering your phones no response I have been calling this property management company and I get no response I have a water leakage I have a couple of other things I have sent them pictures and all of this and I get the runaround and now you want to give me a pending eviction but you won't pick up the phone so that I can pay you I live well that really doesn't matter but I am so tired of them taking advantage of hardworking people that get up every day and go to work they're disgusting and I bet you I'll get a email or it'll be opposed I'm so sorry but they won't pick up the phone so now next step for me let's see how this is going to turn out all of you cuz you're ugly people"

"This is a hidden gem! I got to do a self tour same day, very quiet and cute location with on site parking. Ashley and Wendy have been super helpful throughout my transition and always respond quickly! Even maintenance work orders have a quick turn around. I recommend if you’re looking for something private, Lowkey & affordable in LA."

"I have lived at this apartment for 2 years now, when i started living here (2021) everything was great and communication from landlords and maintenance was consistent. Now (2023) no responses from landlords, you have to send in numerous maintenance requests, Packages get stolen if you don't receive on the exact time/day, if someone lives over you you will hear stomping and loud noises. Overall, if you need an affordable place to stay, i would stay here, but communication from landlords, stolen packages, annoying neighbors are not what you're looking for then don't move here.
