"Current Resident at Greystar: I had a very disturbing encounter today with the man who came to check out my AC. He had told me that maintenance and him were in my apartment the day before. I had submitted a service request about my AC and on that service request I had said call to set up appointment/do not enter if I am not present. I had noticed that my AC was running when I came home that day and called to leave a message for you the manager. I had told them that my AC was running when I had came home and they backed maintenance saying “they are very good about not entering apartments without permission and they can turn on the AC from the roof.” I am honestly so disturbed at the fact that maintenance can enter my home and lie to me that they did not enter my home without permission and that management would lie to my face. I am very triggered, upset and feel very unsafe."

The ongoing state of disrepair has left me feeling thoroughly upset and disappointed, highlighting a dire need for improvement. The string of inadequate managements at this property has been disheartening, with each proving to be ineffective in executing necessary actions to comply with California rental laws. It’s a recurring pattern of failure to meet legal standards, Despite the substantial amount I pay and the promises made through advertisements, the Chadwick’s measures have proven to be inadequate. The frequency of mailbox break-ins every other week adds to the frustration. The issues in this place is overwhelming – from the perpetually broken elevator that adds an extra layer of inconvenience, to doors that seem to have a chronic malfunction, creating daily hassles. Couple that with a broken plumbing line, and the living conditions become not only inconvenient but also unsanitary. The persistent nasty smell emanating from the trash area adds a final unpleasant touch to an already challenging living situation. It’s disheartening to navigate a space where basic amenities consistently fail to function, creating an atmosphere of continuous frustration and discomfort."
