"They sent me a bill for $7700 after I moved out (even though I never missed a payment and didn’t break the lease early.) hired a lawyer but they still say it’s a valid bill, even though they are not giving me a reason as to what the money is for. I’m n the process of suing for false debt collection. Be very careful with this company, extremely shady. Make sure to do a walk-through inspection when you move out and film everything. I left the unit in perfect shape minus a few normal sized wall mount holes for the tv/ Entertainment system Objective review of the building Pros Nice building centrally located in LA Good amenities Ample guest parking Whole Foods next door Amazing common area rooftop Yoga twice a week on premises Cons La Cienega can be a nightmare with traffic. Only one way in/out of the parking. Can be a mess with Whole Foods, food delivery etc Not enough concierge. Often times they have one person on staff and when they go on break or in the back, there’s no one to let guests/food deliveries up. imo they should always have 2 on staff at least until midnight. Not enough events for residents, vox next door seems like they do more. All the retail space is vacant downstairs expect Whole Foods. They’ve been saying for years there will be restaurants going in, never happened. Can be pretty loud trying to sleep. La Cienega is very busy, sometimes you get woken up by loud vehicles. Overall decent spot. By far the best parts are the views and amenities."
"I would like to thank the leasing Team ..MATT,KRISTINA,GARIN,MILA & CONCIERGE for being so nice & patient with me.even when I was stressed out.the porters do such a great job keep the building super clean & maintenance is THE BEST :) plus the residents that live here are so nice. And the floor plans are absolutely beautiful.I’m like a kid in the candy store wanting to move into all of them haha :) I can definitely see myself living here for a very long time."
"Current resident here and giving honest feedback, I've been here for just over 6 months... Positive: Some of the staff have been absolutely amazing. Mila in particular does her best to help residents and is always very kind. Concierge team is great too but its sad to see fast turnovers. Robert D helped us out with leasing and he was great. Negatives: As a resident, you feel like you're not being heard when you ask questions or have concerns with people in higher management. When it comes to crimes and safety residents are the last to hear, if even told at all for that matter. Too, within our building, it seems there's not a lot of compliance with community guidelines (smoking, parking, amenities etiquette). One of my biggest negatives is the sticker sign that is blocking the entire view of my apartment windows (entire bedroom and living room) management told us it would be taken off in March, then in April, and now we are in May. We feel like we are not being heard and deeply regret saying yes to this particular stack with the sticker. I want to mention they are giving us $50 off a month "due to the inconvenience". We thought it would be out by now but clearly it is not and there is no communication to us of it will ever be. I wish someone can just get back to us and give us a date. Lastly, the parking garage is a not the safest. Cars are speeding up and down and the censors for the garage door is placed on opposite ends therefore waiting for collisions to happen. Arq is a beautiful, new building and is barely a year old. It can be much better with some changes. Hoping we can get better communication with management as well. Hope this helps the owners for honest feedback and future residents. Happy to update review if changes happen. Posting pictures of the sticker that is completely obstructing views from our bedroom and living room in broad daylight. EDIT As of of August 26, 2022, I am updating my 3 star rating to a 1 star rating. We were in contact with Matt Raber, General Manager of Cumulus District of Greystar, and was scheduled for a phone conversation on July 20th to discuss many of the issues listed above but have not heard back from anyone. We emailed multiple times after to see why there was no longer any communication and still have not had any response. We are extremely shocked and disappointed by Greystar and Arq's lack of professionalism."
"I've been living at ARQ for about 2 months now and my experience has been fantastic. The building itself is wonderful; top notch amenities, quality unit finishes and views that can't be beat. The building design and interiors brings a unique level of sophistication that I didn't see at any of the other buildings I toured. The staff is also amazing. Rob was my leasing consultant and was a pleasure to work with. He streamlined the application process and made moving in super simple. Ultimately, Rob set my first impressions high and was a big reason why I chose to move in. Since moving in, the rest of the staff has not disappointed. The service level here is comparable to that of a boutique hotel. The guest services staff is very attentive, the housekeepers keep the public areas looking immaculate at all times, and maintenance is very prompt to address any issues. 10/10 would recommend"
"Having lived for some time now I must unfortunately revise my review. While the community is very nice and the amenities are top notch, the behavior and conduct of the staff is unbefitting of such a nice building. It is unbelievable that an expensive, luxury property can have such unprofessional and room management. I strongly recommend anyone looking to move here to seek other options, you will receive far better service for the price."
