Puerto Del Sol Apartments

"Manager is taking take application fees and denying applicants to make money for complex. Myself and 3 adults applied. We all have excellent credit. 2 are in college and one adult would only be with us 1 year. We needed fanatical help with rent and was told about this place. I begged to see an apartment as I didn't want to rent something blinded, she refused and refused and i told her I'm not applying for an apartment i cant see. In the process of conversation she mentioned she needed to upgrade many thing in the complex, just needs the money to get that done. The apartment was VERY small, but again we needed help so we couldn't be that picky. We were very confident we'd get approved, we called a couple times and finally she told us no. I was suspicious. I then had a friend of mine go in and apply as well and she now says she has 8 units open she's in desperate need to fill. my friend paid the app fee and was also told no, but then told yes if she paid double the deposit. This was outrageous. IF PEOPLE CANT AFFORD REGULAR RENT, MAKE MAKES YOU THINK WE CAN THROW AWAY APPICATION FEE MONEY?"
