Reviews
"Incredibly rude. Called for an inquiry and leasing agent Desiree is not pleasant at all. Working customer service, especially in the rental industry, great customer service is a must. Treat all prospects, vendors , contractors and residents with respect!"
"Don’t move here. Alarms constantly going off. It’s not just fire alarms but all alarms around the property ALL NIGHT LONG, day in and day out. People leave trash everywhere. Everything is broken. The foundation of the building is rotting from water damage because nothing is up to code. The list goes on. They can barely keep up with what they currently have going on and now want to start airbnbs here. Rent somewhere else. These high star reviews are not real."
"I moved in during Summer 2023. First thing I want to point out is that the front staff is very kind and accomodating! However, I am not sure I would recommend this place to the vast majority of people. Primarily, it is EXTREMELY expensive, even by Los Angeles standards. I pay roughly $3000 a month for a 1b1b unit, not including utilities. This wouldn't be THAT much of a problem if the facilities were actually kept up with. My washer and drier are terrible, loud, and barely function. My dishwasher smells terrible so I have to hand wash all dishes, my ice maker also smells terrible(?) so I have to use ice trays. The elevators are disgusting, and do not work half the time. There is NO CELL SERVICE ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY, it is actually mind boggling. Additionally, people's awful dogs pee everywhere (elevators, hallways, etc) with no timely cleanup from maintenance. Dogs on the property are also insanely loud, every single solitary day I hear dogs screaming and barking all across the property (genuinely upwards of 10 times daily), it has become absolutely unbearable. Fire alarms go off weekly, if not more often frankly. They chalk this up to "testing" them? But it's gotten to the point that I'd rather they just let the fire take me, I don't even listen to the alarms anymore because they go off CONSTANTLY and are ALWAYS being tested. Check out the place across the street named Bell South Bay Apartments, I would 100% recommend them over this."
"This place is horrible, stay away! Everything is breaking here constantly and the rent has only increased since I've been here. I will not be living here any longer. Management is extremely incompetent. The package room is horrible and I hear about packages getting taken and it's always a treasure hunt to find your package. Hot tub / pool constantly shut down. Entrances to the building always smell like dog pee. Elevators constantly breaking and apparently people have gotten stuck in them. Underground parking garage gate is bad and will break too. And the absolute worst part is the incessant fire alarm going off at random times. This is the building fire alarm that is incredibly loud and has lost me tons of hours of sleep and productivity loss while trying to work from home. Fire alarm has gone off probably 40 times in one year while living here. I'm probably forgetting some stuff as well. DO NOT RENT HERE!"
"I would avoid living here if you can, unless you really need to for some reason. Just a mediocre building with a lot of downsides. Location is bad. There's nothing really around here (on the plus side, that means its usually quiet, unless you live in an apartment facing the freeway). Appliances are cheap. AC doesn't work half the time, for example. Maintenance people are helpful and usually super quick, but I find myself needing to call them far too often due to the issues that arise with the appliances (usually because they're cheap). Fire alarms go off on average once every two weeks, sometimes for 30+ minutes and are extremely loud and annoying. Looking at other reviews, it's been happening for years. I don't really understand how they can't fix this. Elevators are extremely slow and broken half the time; if you live on higher floors and/or can't walk up stairs for some reason, this apartment is probably unlivable. It smells like weed in the hallways and the smell of cigarettes often comes through the windows even though its a no smoking building. I saw the bad reviews and still chose to live here. If I had the choice again, I'd live elsewhere."
