"From the outside these are appealing little one bedroom apartments. But there are some key issues that one should know prior to moving in. First, the parking stinks! You get one single car garage that will fit most mid-sized cars or SUV. If you're a two car family then get used to parking on the street. Sometimes far down the street! Second is the utilities. Water, trash, sewer is combined onto one bill by a third party billing company. This bill is never under $100. Third is there is no air conditioning. That myth that Ventura has a cool climate and no A/C is needed is wrong! Because the ocean is so close the humidity is very high. All it takes is a mid 80's degree day and 70% humidity to be EXTREMELY uncomfortable! The laundry facilities are small. Three washers and three dryers are all there is for the 28 unit complex built in 1973. Several busy bodies live in the small complex and are always peering into open windows as the casually stroll by. Very annoying! All in all I would have not moved here if I had all the facts."
