"Gross is putting it lightly. I am traveling for work, and I cannot find a single good thing to say about this property. The room itself smells. Everything is old, the paint is missing on the walls, the bed looks as if someone died in it. I cannot believe Ventura would allow this motel to rent to actual human beings. Choice should ashamed of itself for allowing this horrible property to use the Roadway Inn name. You are better off buying a tent at Walmart for $35 and staying in the tent! Shame on the owner."

"Not a worthy place to stay it is dirty, and the people that hang around there are seedy and the owners are rude and not professional I guess for the price it may be worth it but I don’t recommend it they will also check inside your room when you’re not there and charge you for anything"

"We got there around 10:30 pm , we rang a bell for someone to come and attend us. The older man was rude and obnoxious. The room had old sheets with holes. The hallway to the room was dirty and the building looked abandoned. I would never stay there again. Really bad costumer service."

"Roadway Inn hotels are one of the best and clean. But the Roadway Inn on Thompson Blvd in Ventura is so dusty. The towels have a lot of stains. The Clorox wipes I used to clean the contact of the light, the microwave, the refrigerator, the table, the buttons of the AC, the TV remote was brown color like they don't clean them daily. Check who is the manager."

"I had a very uncomfortable and unwanted experience. The premises and my room lack cleanliness. The walls had holes and white patches on top of the pain. Sheets did not feel washed, toilet was very dirty. Front door room curtains were semi-open, even if you put them together. The A/C was under the curtains and when on, the air blowed directly to the curtains keeping them open even more to the point that it was no privacy while you were inside the room. I called the front desk and a lady was sent. She placed several pins to keep the curtains from opening up. At least that problem was fixed. Soon after I arrived, my next door neighbor literally warned me about the fact that he liked to play music really loud and he did. The administration allowed him to do it even if it was affecting other people. That place is abandoned. There are no rules, it is not clean and/or well kept. Paying with taxes and fees about $140/per day was not worth it. I definitely DO NOT recommend this place."
