"Terrible place!!! My vehicle got towed because people were “complaining I was living in it”. My car has never seen that property for more than 4 hours. I was inside the apartment with my friend who lives inside the complex. The manager Connie Martinez was no help with getting my money back after paying 500 dollars to get my car retrieved after being illegally towed. I wasn’t parked illegally. This place is in a not so nice part of town, loud highway noise. Unpleasant experience and I was there for 4 hours. Wouldn’t recommend !"

"This is a safe neighborhood/community and located away from the freeway/shopping areas but close enough (5 min drive) which makes it easily accessible to both freeways and the shopping area that has literally all you can ask for. The staff is very quick on getting any issues resolved if something is wrong with the apartment. Staff is also very accommodating in getting all paper work done and works well with communicating with customers. I’ve enjoyed my time at Sunbay!"

"Great apartment complex. Staff and management are very understanding and just over all very professional. I have been a tenant for over 3 years and I’ve never had issues with noise, the complex is pretty big so that’s been awesome. Maintenance requests are taken care of pretty fast which is a huge plus! Definitely would recommend."

"My boyfriend was walking our cat on her leash this afternoon in the common area when two dogs from across the courtyard came running after them. We've complained about the little gray one named "Oso" for years because his owner refuses to always use a leash when the dog goes out. My boyfriend started going towards the dogs to scare them off. The woman watching the dogs yelled at him in Spanish "don't scare my dogs, they're not doing anything." Right. They were off leash and scaring our cat by running towards her. The complex management used to try enforcing the pet leash policy, but apparently gave up because of dog owners like these who think that rules don't apply to their precious canines."

"Great spot to catch a sunset! One of the few places still accessible for families/rent. Ideal location to main roads in a private setting with parking lot and some apartment views of the bay. Office team is great with phone calls and helping you get a unit that you request. Occupants are grateful to get through the rental process, but be ready for an apartment of opposites. Friendly to families, but walls are thin. Be warned that they welcome families but are quick to accuse about noise level as single occupants are quick to illegally or falsely send recordings complaining about noise. Not sure if complaints are launched about the car alarms or loud engines at night. Trash overflows often. Pool, tennis courts, spa, and lounge are a mirage as they have not been opened or accessible for three years. Management will tell you they might open next month every time you ask. Policy says no pets, but cats and dogs are plentiful and occasionally noisy. Contact highs are available for free. Ants will stop by often, although the professional pesticide works well! Some places have new counters, but don’t hold your breath waiting if promised. New homes are being constructed near golf course, so day time can be dusty or noisy."
