"Nice balcony rooms and always have microwave, coffee with other adequate supplies, mini fridge and lamps with USB PORTS. Great quality mattresses, nice linen and hardwood flooring. Great Value! Close to shopping and dining. Not too far to walk to beach. PET FRIENDLY!"

"This was a pretty good hotel. The floors and baseboards were a bit dirtier than I expected (we didn't want to go barefoot on these carpets), and the AC was very old (and smelled it). But the price was good compared to all of the other hotels in the Monterey area, it's close to Costco, close to the beach, and the bed was very clean and comfortable. I think a lot of the hotels in the Monterey/Seaside area are all really old buildings, and so this one isn't any different. Owners were friendly. Overall a good experience, the floors and some of the room was just a bit dirtier than we expected."

"This is a good little hotel that is not far from the beach! A short drive away. The room was decently clean, great fridge that worked and working ac. Bathroom fan didn't exist, and dirty under and behind the beds (dust and trash). Other than that, I recommend."

"Rooms are very basic and look absolutely nothing like the pictures they show online. The sheets were stained. I didn't even feel comfortable sleeping under them. The TV didn't work and all I was told by the front desk was that the dish was out. The wifi was slow. Total disappointment and waste of money. This is definitely not a hotel you want to stay in."

"This isn’t bad for the price. The friendly and efficient staff make up for the old facility. The rooms could use updating, but my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was able to get a good night’s sleep. The greatest treat was the desk clerk, Eric. He was attentive and did a great job handling my reservation and check-in. Thanks, Eric!"
