"I know my wife left a positive review, but I wanted to add my own. On first glance, this appeared to be a low-end place, due mostly to the small size of its initial appearance and its dated construction (I'd guess 1950's originally). We couldn't have been more pleased with the value we received here. The owners have updated the amenities while preserving the vintage appearance. Our room was neat and clean, and the sink and shower were modern, granite-appointed appliances with full hot water pressure. Space was more than adequate, proximity to DLI at the Presidio of Monterey is basically a straight shot of about 10 minutes, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the cleanliness and aesthetics of this antique inn. Quiet, relaxed, picture-worthy accommodations was our experience."

"I spent a couple of nights here and had a great experience. I was able to check in no problem and I went straight to my room where admittedly I spent most of my time. It was quiet, I wasn't disturbed by anything, and it had a fridge and microwave which was nice. The shower was big and had hot water. It's in a great location with a lot of things to do nearby. The parking lot is small, as most other people have noted, but the area is still good if you want to go on a brisk walk around. I personally didn't have any problems staying here. Got in late, left early a couple days later. I'd definitely stay here again if I were in the area."
