"This place is terrible I wouldn’t even tell my family to move here. They charge outrageous prices for rent with no good amenities to even show off. They keep raising the rent since new management came. Everyone have been moving from here because the other residents here are either tired of paying ALL utilities and a high rent apartment and/or they are tired of the environment that was created since the management changed. If you find this helpful just know I am one of those people moving as well . I was also lied to when moving in I was told that I was signing up for a 2 bed 2 bath after I signed my lease and did a walk through the home was 2 bed one bath and was told “there aren’t any 2 bed 2 baths here” *** 2024 UPDATE Since moving from villa mendanos I have been wrongfully charged over a months rent that Michelle claims she didn’t receive as well as her trying to keep my deposit, anyone reading this review don’t move here Michelle just want your money she don’t like people of color unless they Indian and can’t speak English well, or at all. I noticed with them she charges different amounts and rates because they can’t speak English too"
"Pools have been closed all summer and looks like they won’t be opening them I have requested for weeks and same story. Also management sucks at getting back to the tenants and getting repairs done."
"I don’t even know where to start I live at Villa Meandos for two years with my two children. The reason I moved out because my top neighbor upstairs was getting beat up by her boyfriend and kept noise up from the day she moved to the property and I also needed more space. I had a few issues here but they always work it self out. While staying at the property the rent went up two times from $1500.00 to $1687.00. I gave my 30 day notice on April 1, 2021 and I move out May 1, 2021. When I moved in the property manager was nice but while I was staying there I saw how the attitude change and she started to be more unprofessional. When I moved out the property i was charged fees Totaling $519.00 out of my deposit. The break down includes trash $100.00 $84.00 for paint $124.00 for a prorated carpet charge and a parking permit that I pay for that was not returned for $5.00 and $210.00 charge for cleaning needs. I have a video and pictures of the property the house was very cleaned and I didn’t have any trash inside my house. Villa meandos is ripping people off by charging unnecessary fees out of tenant deposits and this is NOT RIGHT. I emailed corporate and have it got no response. It’s a pandemic going on I need all my money back Im single mom money is tight and this not right."
"First, let me state why I give this community a 3-star rating then I’ll proceed with the good. Communication! Communication! Communication! At start, it was hard to speak with someone, I’d called and emailed multiple times to no avail then finally I decided to call corporate. The HQ was extremely helpful & got me in contact with the Regional Mgr almost immediately, from then on my experience has been pleasant. I was able to visit onsite, get all of my questions answered, view a unit, and submit my application along with fees all in ONE visit. The leasing agent, Ms. Cynthia was very sweet and reminded of me of my great aunts with her pleasant energy. After visiting the community & seeing that they’re actively renovating I now understand why communication was hard in the beginning. However, given the circumstances the staff is doing really well. Assisting residents with inquires, managing the construction, screening applicants, and all other day to day tasks paired with this Covid pandemic is a lot for ONE person; yet, amidst all of that Ms. Cynthia is still getting things done and I applaud her for that. As people we need to show a bit more empathy and understanding to the circumstance of others. It cost nothing to have a bit of patience and compassion for our neighbors. "Absolute worst place I can think of while inquiring in getting a new home!! Finding a place is stressful already if you are looking for a property manager or leasing agent to correspond with you specially after paying your application fees then paying a holding fee this is not the place for you! Lady in the office Cynthia is the worst of the worst ,delayed paperwork, don’t follow up, don’t reply to emails, absolutely nothing we get it people are looking to move and paperwork need to be done but why is it we call your office and every time no one is there or no one picks up(even if you calling 10x a day)Very poorly managed just imagine actually being a tenant. I am glad we pulled our deposit and went elsewhere!!"
