"There were 2 people in the leasing office when I came by: One lady named Sharilyn and the other I believe named Lenne (she wouldn't provide her name when I asked). Lenne was dreadful. The most unwelcoming person I have met in California. She wasn't just unfriendly, she was rude and unprofessional. She was a horrible representation for Oakwood. She deserves 0 stars. Sharilyn was kind, and took the time to welcome me to the community. Lenne was apparently a temp worker. Let's hope not for long. 1 star. Also, please be aware: they will not show you inside an apartment without paying for an application fee (40 usd). I don't fault them for that, but it is a bit unusual in my experience. Best of luck to Sharilyn. She was lovely. Lenne should be fired : )"

"Very bad customer service and unprofessional from management and staff David who was the rudest of all. The staff would not give a phone number to contact compliance or a supervisor above them. Also they did not give an explanation of a denial. Which is weird that I was denied because I have excellent credit, income and Rental history. I deserve an explanation why my Application was denied."

"Lived there for a few years. During that time the office ladies were so sweet. This property I'm pretty sure of and the many others the frostie family (won't say real last name)own are paid off. The price of the rent has nearly doubled since I left. There is no reason for that besides all you giving this family lots of first class vacations and other. The old house in Alamo in the hills was off the hook. The Simpsons memorabilia, you'd be amazed. Did all you tenents buy them something nicer? California, the home of padding someone else's pockets!"

"You can tell there is shady business going on here. I had myself and a couple other people apply for these apartment complex and we all got denied even though we met all the requirements. I believe all these apartments are already filled up. They never called any of the references nor checked our credit even though they stated they did check our credit. I contacted the credit bureau to see if There was a soft pull but there wasn’t. I would suggest don’t apply here and run away. Other people that had a positive feedback with them look at their profiles they only had one review. Don’t waste your money here trust me"

"Lived here for 2 years. Management is pretty chill, some dumb rules you gotta put up with. The grounds are kept up reasonably well. They are pretty cheap when it comes to fixing up apartments. They get things repaired quickly but often take cheaper short cuts doing so. Its not the nicest newest place to live. But for the price it can't be beat! I haven't had too many issues here, if something needs repairs they get it done. Rent goes up about 75$ a year, all month to month, no leases offered. They have a pool to swim in and laundry rooms, not much else. Parking is crowded, so 1 car for your personal stall is preferable. They do have security guards at night and its fully gated which is nice."
