"An appointment was scheduled to visit an apartment, I received an SMS confirmation for the visit and arriving at the place, there was no unit available and no one to serve me, Bad service and service. With this first impression I already make it very clear to anyone that the condominium does not have a serious administration and with good services."
"A nightmare of an apartment complex. In my time of around 1 year at city south I have had so many issues. Not in any particular order: 1. Fire Alarm has gone off 4 times at all hours of the night. 2. Power has gone out for multiple hours at least 2 times. One of which was in the middle of the work day - the power was out and the fire alarm was going off. This forced me to uber to the office with my dog because I couldnt get my car out of their power gate. 3. Wifi access has been turned off for multiple hours on at least 3 occasions for 6+ hours. (this is due to power outtages and no backup generators) 4. You can hear every noise your neighbors make. I've asked city south on multiple occasions to help with noise dampening. 5. I asked to be relocated in the community because the neighbors were banging on my roof all night and they told me I'd have to pay to end my lease, put in a new deposit, and pay back any concessions. 6. Maintenance has entered my apartment without consent or notice. The only reason I found out was because they have an automated door system letting me know my door was opened without my permission. 7. My carpet is disgusting - maintenance told me it was supposed to be replaced before I moved in and they forgot. 8. The hot tub/pool is frequently closed. The hot tub was literally full of sewage water for several days. 9. Mail isnt placed in lockers and is stolen. Ive also had my mail put in others lockers without having any way to access it. 10. Washer/Dryer combo has destroyed multiple shirts/sheets and other items. 11. Dishwasher is so loud you can only run it if you're in another room which would only be after hours which isnt allowed. There are so many other issues that I could get into but I can imagine you're no longer reading. Look elsewhere for housing. City south / UDR - do better."
"2 years of living here: When we first moved in here the application process was EASY got approved within minutes. Two weeks before moving in we got an email saying we lost our apartment because the previous owner is refusing to move out so they gave us another option and told us if we don’t take it we don’t get anything. It was annoying but we ended up liking the view so it worked out in our favor. Pro: - Pretty - Management tens to respond fast with issues or maintenance concerns. - Pool area is nice. - Family friendly/neighbors are kind and to themselves Cons - People don’t pick up after their dogs so expect to step on poop EVERYWHERE you go. It doesn’t matter how many emails they send people just don’t care. - It says do not have your dog without a leash yet people think its a dog party and then you hear two dogs fighting. - The place is “pretty” but NOOOOOT functional. The layout is awkward and tight. Barely any kitchen storage, tight hallways, no windows, feels tight and small. The bathroom is tiny and laundry machines are small too. - You have to pay for pge, water, dog, garage or parking. When we first moved in we paid around $2,400 before the fees but after our second year we started paying almost $3,200. Looking back it was the best option for when we moved in but for families or anyone looking to “Settle in” you’re gonna have to get creative with the space because it’s TIGHT and storage/functionality are 2/10."
"Beware of dates when applying for these apartments. Me and my roommate applied with the intention of moving in on 11/1 and ended up with a lease starting 10/17. When I asked for it to be changed, (Earliest we could move in was 10/20) they told me the rent would be over $1000 more than what we were originally looking into unless I agreed to an extended lease? Anyways. They ended up keeping my $500 application deposit because we decided not to move forward. No personable experiences. They communicate through email and text until it's time to collect a check you'll get 3-4 calls within the hour."
"This Condominium is a mess. the space is very good and the pool area is also beautiful. but the administration is horrible! My problems started right when I moved in because the apartment I had chosen on the day I moved in wasn't renovated and I almost didn't stay on the street and so I needed to change apartments and guess what they charged me a transfer fee and they also wanted me to to return a discount that I had when I entered, I would have to pay around 5 to 6,000 just to transfer me to another apartment and it was their mistake because the apartment I had chosen is not available and even then they still wanted to charge me and obviously I couldn't move to the other apartment . They always seem to be grumpy and unwilling to work I really don't understand what this administration is doing Because it seems like they are joking or pretending to work because they don't make the slightest effort to help the residents with anything and everything we ask for they do with grudging . I had a serious problem with another resident who chased me and threatened me for a long time, and the condominium ignored my requests and couldn't do anything according to them. and they never really helped me with anything in this regard and this resident even showed a gun to my children and the condominium still did nothing. So it's really not a safe place for you to move. Another important point is that there is no in-person communication, only remote communication and they do what they want, accept or not accept your requests according to their wishes, they do not try to help the residents and only think about taxing you for any reason. I really don't recommend you move here"
