"Despite none of my issues ever even getting remotely addressed by management, I have grown to appreciate the space for what I’m paying. I think if my rent were to be raised, I would leave, however for the meantime, it’s a good deal for the square footage. I believe management needs to tighten up their game besides writing fake reviews on review sites. The units to my left and right have gone unfilled now for over three months. I truly believe if proper management took this place seriously they could in fact fill the place. If responsive management and safety are not your concerns, this place can be a great place to rent. I’m not trying to sound sarcastic but if you’re comfortable in uncomfortable areas of Oakland you’ll probably enjoy the spot."

"Great place. I have been living here for 2 years. The location is amazing. Not many amenities but I am okay with that because I can pay less rent and live near downtown. I recommend everyone to live here."

"Place is in my opinion takes advantage of those who need help the most. They don't keep their word and will bill everyone 3-450 a month on top of rent for water and garbage. Be aware of this and the fact they do things like change locks on people while they live in the unit wo permission and also don't fix at least my units broken dishwasher, clogged tub, sink etc etc. Just find better you deserve it!"

"I am a current tenant. My fiance and I have been living here for 1 and half years. We moved here when the building was open. I agree on a lot with what Brian wrote, and I think he really describes everything in a good way. When I initially moved in the management was horrible and really needed to be improved. There was a lot of issues, and maintenance was slow, and ie was just a new building and still is a new building. I feel that they still have a lot to learn but are definitely improving. I think that every now and then I notice there is a problematic tenant, that will have parties, but the building community and management will work together, to solve any issues in the community. What I really like about the unit is their design, where it's just really efficient and flexible, for instance there is close space, but this just give you more flexibility on how you use the space, we use one room as an office, one is a bedroom, and one is big close space / guest room. The upside is that there I think between 3 to 5 rooms in the units, but the downside is there is no master bedrooms, so just don't expect to rooms larger then I think 120 sqft. I definitely say you should check out other units and companies before committing. The quality is what you pay for!"
