Springline - The Residences

"1 star for staff and 1 star for train noise - horns at all times of the night. Had to move out. Two thumbs way down."

"The Springline team is exceptionally kind and works to foster a great community experience. A big shout out to Justin, Anna, Kayla, Andrew, and the rest of the team for always welcoming the day with smiles! When we do have a concern, this team always hears us and considers solutions. The gym, golf simulator, and other communal spaces are great and the building is kept clean. The gym is rarely too packed -- there's always space to get your workout in. And the other communal spaces are free a lot of the time. The Sunday breakfast, regular fitness classes, and other Springline-hosted events are exceptionally planned and fun. For example, February will feature a Barre3 class, a Valentine's Soiree, and a Superbowl showing. The past few months, we've also had pizza making using the outdoor ovens, holiday wreath making, a charcuterie board class, pool party, outdoor jazz, and many more events! If you work from home, the building is generally quite during the day and there are lounge spaces near the lobby with outlets to work. Otherwise, outdoor seating near the pool and the other outdoor space are also great spots to stir up your usual WFH environment. Plus, the kitchen will quench your caffeine needs with tea and coffee. Springline has some solutions in the works for train noise if you're facing the train, and our friends in units away from the train say the noise isn't bothersome. I recommend seeing rooms when trains pass during the day. That said, it's been over a year and I've managed. Move in!"

"Toured Springline Apartments with Paula Williams and also met various other members of the team. The staff exudes professionalism, and the ambiance carries a distinct Hotel/Resort vibe. A notable feature is the canopy, creating an excellent atmosphere for remote work. The convenient proximity to Caltrain makes owning a car unnecessary."

"Had a great tour by Paula. She answered all my questions, walked me through the residential and commercial side, and told me about upcoming restaurants. Paula is very knowledgeable and professional."

"You may drive by or take the tour and think this apartment complex looks really nice, but that is the best you will experience. This apartment has extremely poor management and odd priorities. The grounds are beautiful. They’ll give you a fancy welcome box when you arrive. But parts of your apartment will be broken and messy upon moving in. There is a garage robot, but the building door locks and garbage chutes are frequently broken. Oh, and you need at least 7 apps to live here — good luck remembering which one to use when. There’s a signature scent in the lobby, but the ceilings and walls are thin so you hear your neighbors a lot. The place is a party on the weekends or just on a Monday night. They have a golf simulator, but packages just stop getting delivered sometimes and end up in limbo for days. Staff will smile, but then tell you the wrong thing about how something works. You may be tempted like I was by the shiny photos and bubbly tour, but it’s an unpleasant living experience."
