Elan Menlo Park Apartments

"Sophie, Ana, Francisco - the whole crew here has been awesome! So awesome we ended up renewing our lease so we stayed here for 2 years. Ultimately moved because the lease renewal was a bit out of our budget but it was a nice and quiet neighborhood with very caring staff. Anytime we submitted a maintenance request (which we only had to do maybe 2-3 times for minor issues) they pretty much came within 1-2 days! Very responsive and responsible staff that cares about their residents, even planning socials, and taking the time to listen to residents. The residents mostly keep to themselves, but are friendly. Lots work in tech or healthcare because of Stanford and Facebook campus nearby. It’s never a huge ruckus or anything, and we rarely heard the dogs at the dog pound nearby, which was an initial concern for us. It’s a great location with easy access to neighboring cities like Palo Alto, San Bruno, San Carlos, Redwood City, San Mateo, and more. If I could, I’d stay here in the 2 bedroom, it has been a truly lovely stay. Thank you Elan staff!!"

"TO FUTURE RESIDENTS: I have been living here for about two years now, and with new management changes, parking has become a NIGHTMARE! The only pro of living here now is the distance from my job. This place is next to a car dealership and a dog kennel where dogs are barking 24/7. Please compare other places before deciding to live at Elan as the price point is that of a premium apartment, but everything else is not. PROS: 10 minutes to grocery stores, redwood city downtown CONS: Loud dogs Bugs (Silverfish in apartments) NO PARKING (one spot costs $40+ dollars and for that too you have to be on the waitlist, there is no free of cost parking with the new management) I will not be renewing my lease here."

"I've lived here for a few years now and have seen management changes. I'd say they should have consistency, but luckily, I've seemed to like the team here. Sophie is the new manager here, she is great when it comes to being responsive, and she is very polite and professional. The community is beautiful, and I love that the gym is open 24 hours; it is convenient. Ana and the rest of the staff are very kind."

I was worried when she moved onto new endeavors, lo and behold the new manager Sophie has been pleasant from day one. As a resident you always worry when you develop a bond with a manager, I’m glad that she is here. She makes the residents feel important and cared for! She is very professional and wants to make sure all the residents are heard and resolves any issues!"

"Elan Menlo is a great place to live! Great amenities, friendly staff (specifically Ana, she is so kind and helpful in resolving issues.) I used to live at 5000s and I loved my apartment. The apartment is built well and you cant hear any noises from neighbors. The staff were doing a great job in keeping the gym and the pool and common area clean. Maintenance team are also amazing. I’d definitely recommend anyone to live here."
