"So, I've seen all the previous bad reviews and all I can say is that, for me, that place was wonderful. The apartment and the facilities were clean and functional, the location is totally walkable, and the landscaping is to die for. These small apartments fill a niche that I couldn't find anywhere else in the whole area for the price. I had one problem with my garbage disposal that was fixed immediately. Finally, the manager, Gina, is a warm and caring person and made the experience even better. I finally found a place to buy, but I will always have fond memories of my time here."

"This place is HORRIBLE. The office lost our move in paperwork showing all the damages to the apartment before moving in. They refused to fix any of the damages the apartment had, even the buckling and rising floor. Not only that but when we moved to our new place, Gina claimed they had "lost" our paperwork with the damages and they ended up charging our full deposit. We kept this apartment in IMMACULATE shape. Now that we are trying to resolve this issue, Gina has not responded to me once and now im sending physical copies of emails and forms in to get their attention. This has gone on for too long and I would advise everyone to stay clear of this place. Theres a reason the 3 companies that had owned it over the time of me living there had all sold the place. It's really that bad"

"Units have some major construction flaws, heres a couple you'll want to know about: - Closet isn't deep enough to hold a full width hanger. (I know... how is this even possible) - Light switch sensor in rest room is set to a couple minutes, so when the shower curtain is closed during a shower, the lights will often turn off. - We had a window that leaked, because sides of windows were not sealed correctly. About 6 months into my lease, the complex was bought and began being managed by "vertus properties inc". The are still the managing this complex. After moving out; A mandatory 300$ charge for cleaning is deduced from security deposit, regardless of the state of cleanliness of apartment. (completely illegal as per California Code, Civil Code - CIV § 1950.5.b.3). Seems like there is no possible way to get your full security deposit back. When getting back break down of security deposit deductions I wasn't given an itemized receipt of deductions, just statements of what was done and price, no receipt of repairs required by law. Meaning they could have charged whatever they wanted from my security deposit and did in fact attempted to do this. Worst of all, on my security deposit deductions, there was more than 1000$ discrepancy between what they said my deposit was vs what my lease states. Administrator at Access looked up my lease in front of me and acknowledged the issue, "but can't do anything about it" because she just sends the notices... I was told to contact Vertus accounting whom responsible for this. After multiple attempts during business hours I have still been unable to talk to a human on the phone there. Moral of the story, apartments are OK, but definitely not worth current rent being charged. Most importantly, the company managing this complex (Vertus Properties, Inc.) is very unorganized and you are better off not having to deal with them and get scammed."

"My 6 months stay a 500 sq ft apartment was a very good experience. I must first give credit to the manager who was warm, welcoming, helpful and efficient. The apartment was well appointed with up to date appliances, pleasant and constantly improving surroundings, planting, swimming pool, areas for socializing, unfortunately inhibited by Covid, an Amazon hub, with parking, utilities, internet, insurance arrangements facilitated. There’s a deck where one can chat with the neighbours and the occasional passers by, on the way to the dog park or home."

"I have lived here for over 6 months and have had an amazing experience with management and maintence. They are very professional and any time I have called, I received a timely response in return. The apartments are small, but they are designed to utilize every square inch. My daughter and I were surrounded by great neighbors and created so many fun memories. Close access to good food and my favorite grocery store, Oliver’s. The amenities are currently being renovated and when they are finished I’m sure they will look beautiful. The bonuses are the washer/dryer in unit, air conditioning and fully renovated space with high end appliances. I have thoroughly enjoyed my living experience here."
