"We have been here over a year. All of the staff, maintenance and leasing office, are easy to work with and have always been kind. Great location, quiet neighbors and thankfully lots of parking. The rent is the best price we have seen for what we are provided!"

"I lived there in the 2000s the manager at the time was hostile and confrontational. When I proposed the desire to get a medium sized service animal the lady with 3 yappy rat dogs lost her composure and told me I could not have a medium sized service dog... Even though there were several full sized dogs in the apartments. I hope that woman died a horrible death and those stupid little dogs chewed her face off!"

"Charles Point enables crime and may abruptly terminate your lease with no cause. I am a current resident, although not for much longer. Management has chosen to terminate my lease without cause and will not reveal any further info, helpfully citing that Oregon law doesn’t require them to do this. If you are a clean, quiet tenant who pays rent on time - be warned, they may still choose to take your home away with no explanation. Crime in the neighborhood is also rampant. My girlfriend’s backpack, laptop and switch were stolen out of her car. After calling the police and filing a report, we approached the office and asked if they could be of any assistance with camera footage. We were told in clear terms that there are NO WORKING CAMERAS anywhere in the area despite signs to the contrary. Much later, the office manager tried to backtrack on this - but never offered an explanation or an apology for why we were initially lied to. The office staff lacks kindness, empathy and communication skills. They quickly become combative and will needlessly escalate a situation to the point of hostility rather than approach with an attitude of service or respect. At Charles Point, you are treated and expected to behave like cattle. Good riddance."

"Lived at Charles point for many years. The office staff is friendly, kind and helpful. The grounds are kept up well. I love that it’s hard to get into because our neighborhood seems to care about being respectful and kind to each other. Highly recommend!"

"My experience here started out horrible. Got better and then got horrible again. Within 2 weeks of moving in there was a horrible ant problem in my first floor unit. I spent nearly $100 on sprays, traps, cleaning products and nothing helped. When I told the office staff, I was told the best they could do is spray outside the unit and that I needed to get big spray and traps (which I already did). There were ants coming from the ceiling! On the walls! So I complained again and said I would need to move out if the problem continued… a week later the problem was solved. Haven’t had any ants since. Now, a year later, I was charged a noncompliance fee for not having a clean patio. I got 2 Emails. One saying to clean by a certain date. The patio was cleaned the weekend before the date, pictures were taken for evidence and a week later, I check my tenant account and there is an extra fee for not having a clean patio. I called the front office about it And was greeted by some rude office person on the other line. I’m still waiting to hear why I was charged a fee. Another problem, There is no maintenance number advertised. There is only an emergency line. I had a broken microwave. So I called to have it fixed. Once again, I was greeted by some rude office person saying “a broke microwave is not an emergency.” Then have a number that we can call so we can report maintenance problems. She continued to tell me that I need to use the stove or oven to heat my food and someone won’t be on site for another 3 days. I’m paying more than a $1000 to live here and don’t even have a working microwave. Overall experience… not great."
