"If you’re getting your medical exam for immigration purposes here, be aware that they will draw your blood and put down in their notes that you refused to test what you’re immune to, so you could retake all the basic vaccines that you already took as a kid for hundreds of dollars. When I tried to explain to Dr. Nguyen that my mom was already vaccinated and that they should have tested her blood for immunity, he kept giving me examples of how not taking certain vaccines will un-alive her. He used a harsher word. I used their service 6 years ago, I remember explicitly asking to be tested for immunity. After the experience my mom went through, I realized that by default they write in their visit notes that a patient refused the immunity test, unless they explicitly ask for the test like I did. Also, Dr. Nguyen tried to gaslight my mom who’s been teaching in English for the past 30 years, asking her to bring me as her translator, saying it was a misunderstanding. Extremely unprofessional."

Getting an appointment was easy, we received timely reminders beforehand and when we arrived at the clinic, there was hardly any waiting time. The staff was efficient in processing our paperwork, the medical exam went smoothly and in a week as promised we received a sealed envelope with the results. Definitely recommend their services."

"My experience wasn’t terrible, but it is inconvenient. When I first made an appointment for travel vaccinations, I asked what records I would need to bring and if there was a charge for the visit. I was told I didn’t need to bring anything; that didn’t sound right so I planned to bring my previous vaccine records. I was also told there was no charge for the visit, only the vaccines. That ALSO didn’t sound right as a business practice; these people are looking to make a profit and don’t take insurance - they need to charge SOMEONE. The office called yesterday and said they had some notes about the appointment, the day before. I called them back multiple times; each time, the phone rang long enough that I was transferred to a main operator who tried to call and said the lines were busy. So they call this morning and open with, did you get my message yesterday? Little boy, who are you talking to? So in my silence, he said, “Nevermind, it’s okay. Anyway…” I know it’s okay. He proceeds to tell me that all the information he gave me before was wrong. I need to become a new patient of the clinic, bring all my medical records, and pay a $225 charge for the visit. He didn’t apologize for the previous misinformation and acted like it wasn’t him I spoke to before, but he’s the only person I’ve spoken to. I let him ride that lie because he sounds young; now, I wish I had just given him feedback that when you play with people’s time and money like this, you take responsibility, apologize profusely, and keep it moving. Most people will be annoyed but move on. Taking no accountability and not issuing an apology is usually going to lead to escalation. He’s lucky that I’m too lazy & now too busy trying to address his failure to do so."
"I’ve had an extremely smooth experience at Recharge Medical. I had taken an appointment for my I-693 immigration requirement. The staff is extremely helpful and very clear about the process. Neither did it take me long to get an appointment nor did it take time to get done with the first appointment. My advice would be to carry all your vaccination history along to make it quicker and easier for the doctor to assess your case. Exactly a week later they handed over the sealed and signed form to me. I absolutely recommend them for your I 693 processing! :)"
