"I live in the Orange Cove/Orosi area, so those are my two locations I go to almost every other day. The only reason I came to this San Joaquin store is because it was on my way home from out of town so I could grab cat food instead of having to run another errand later. Well, I go in the store like I normally do at any other Family Dollar, completely finish getting what I came for, then five feet from the checkout line, a very rude employee named Cindy (would not provide last name) tells me in a very rude condescending tone that I need a mask. Normally I wouldn’t care so much. Especially since stores that enforce the mask policy will provide you with a mask if you don’t have one. Well, I happen to be in a rental vehicle that my masks aren’t in for these types of situations, so I ask Cindy if she can please provide me with one to use while spending money at the store which she is an employee of…which is standard for every business to do. Instead she rudely tells me that they don’t have any to give to customers so they can shop in the store, but she tells me in a very ‘smart’ tone that I can BUY a pack of masks for five dollars!!! I cannot believe the way she handled the situation at all, I am extremely shocked that Family Dollar would employ such a person. Needless to say, I am throughly happy that I do not live anywhere near this store and won’t ever have to come back to this location."
