"Great room and amenities. Keep in mind it’s a little loud because it has a restaurant in the courtyard but for me it was all part of the experience. Amazing bed and lovely service. Fantastic area if you want to be out of the touristy areas and in a more local based area. Loved my stay. Will definitely stay again."

"This four star hotel is like a motel but with very high price. The room is far from satisfaction, uncleaned sofa, dirty table, no body lotion provided, and even there is no extra toilet paper in the bathroom. The room is small and noisy. Since the restaurant plays very load music everyday till 1am. You can hear people screaming and talking laughing until 2 am(even we were on the second floor!! at midnight! So if you want some place to rest, I'm sure you can find somewhere better with the same price, larger room, not a decorated "motel" with a water pool. By the way, the wall is poor of soundproofing, bad privacy."

"Recently planned an event at the Cara hotel, which included a stay at the hotel and two meals at the restaurant. It was an incredible experience all around. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Charlie, who handles their events was an absolute pro and executed our event seamlessly. Highly recommend for a weekend stay, event or great meal!"

"Really enjoyed this cute hotel. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We got a balcony room and it was a little noisy but I didn’t really hear ppl talking, just music being played. But I don’t remember it being played late. Actually in the morning it was nice waking up to some light jazzy music. Only stayed here for a night and didn’t get a chance to eat at restaurant but ordered dessert room service which was yummy. Hotel is very close to Griffith to do some hiking but also next to Thai town to get some yummy Thai food. Walking around the area didn’t feel particularly unsafe."

"I loved the Cara restaurant and everything about it. The staff is the most welcoming, friendly, and truly kind that I think I've ever experienced. They were very accommodating too when we asked to be seated near the pool to have a better ambience of the place. The internal court has a restaurant with a pool, trees, and a seating area too. The restaurant is exceptional. The food was amazing and our experience was the best we ever had. Service across the hotel and restaurant is on point, with many staff going well out of their way to make sure the restaurant experiences are memorable. I felt happy every second we were there. We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we are happy that we went to the best restaurant in LA."
