"We loved this hotel and location! Views are beautiful and it’s walking distance to great restaurants, bars, shops. Beach and boardwalk right there and the pool area is nice. Employees were all helpful and friendly. This was an anniversary trip but we’d love to return with our young daughters and take advantage of beach equipment and bikes which are included."

"We had the most amazing time at Pacific Terrace Hotel! We traveled for Tampa, FL for my best friends 30th birthday and it was so much fun! The resort is beautiful - big rooms, comfy beds, and very clean. We could hear the ocean crashing all day / night. So relaxing! The pool was everything- the views are out of this world. Heated year round with amazing views of the ocean and boardwalk. The guest services were so kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. Everything was pretty much walking distance. If not, guest services were so quick to assistant with any travel arrangements. We will absolutely be back! Thanks again!!!!"

"In a few of these categories I wish I could give six stars. The room was stunning, punctuated by a view that simply can’t be beat. It must be the closest property to the beach in the whole area. Five stars. However, the service was a step above. The service is casual and friendly but still so darn attentive. I was greeted with genuine smiles and conversation at every interaction. By the time I left they felt like family. Thank you Lloyd and Sandra for going above and beyond. I’ll never stay at another hotel in Mission Bay again."

"We have stayed at many hotels, and staying at Pacific Terrace Hotel is definitely one of the best hotel experiences we have had. The guest service is amazing. The hotel staff is very professional and courteous, from front desk to bellman, to cleaning staff. It has been a pleasant experience everywhere we went. The staff always tries to accommodate our needs whenever possible. Forgot to pack some items in our toiletries and they quickly provided some for us. Ran out of coffee in the room and the front desk always had extra available. The amenities are great too. The pool is really nicely heated so it's comfortable even when it's cold out. The fitness center is fully equipped. The hotel also provides free bike rental and beach chair/umbrella/toys. The hotel is situated in a prime location, not just for the beach, but also amazing food, all within walking distance. It's also within reasonable driving distance to many local attractions and the hotel often has discount tickets. It's great for family and we would love love to come back in the future. Highly recommend Pacific Terrace Hotel for visits in San Diego!"

"I am still dreaming about the sunsets my husband and I watched from our stunning oceanfront balcony at Pacific Terrace before Thanksgiving. The room exceeded my expectations. The 2 queen beds ocean view room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The weather was unseasonably warm and we were able to enjoy the pool and spa. The pool temperature was perfect. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Several restaurants like JRND are a short walk from the hotel. I also appreciated the complimentary apples and water in the lobby. Bikes are also complimentary. Little touches like that really make a difference. My only regret is that I only stayed 4 nights. I will absolutely return."
