"I gave Metro Ford three stars because of the long, good history of service provided by Metro Ford. This last transaction unfortunately deserves no stars. Our car broke down and we had it towed to Metro Ford. After running their diagnostic equipment, we received a phone call saying it would cost roughly $3,000 to repair our vehicle. I asked for the estimate to be emailed to me. Five minutes later a representative phoned to tell me the estimate was amended, as they took off the wiper blade replacement and air filter replacement ($82 and change). The wiper blade and air filter had nothing to do with why our car broke down. Would they have taken them off the estimate if I had not asked for a copy? From now on I will ALWAYS CAREFULLY LOOK OVER AN ESTIMATE before giving permission to work on my vehicles. I immediately took the estimate to a local mechanic that I have worked with in the past. He looked at the Metro Ford estimate and made his own estimate of $1,400 ordering exactly the same parts. Needless to say, I towed our vehicle to his shop."

"I went in for an oil change and to have a key fob battery replaced. The tech put the wrong kind of oil in my car, but thankfully they found it before I left. Still, it added an extra 30 minutes to my wait while they put the correct oil in. They also completely forgot to replace the key fob battery, which I caught as I was leaving. I know mistakes happen, but two in the same appointment does not instill confidence at all. I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere from now on."
