"The worst accommodation experience I have ever had!!! The employees at the front desk were really nice and kind, willing to help me deal with so much problems. The room is old and worn, the drainage is blocked, soundproofing is very poor, and the noise disturbs my sleep. The cleanliness is also extremely poor. BUT the WORST thing was that after I checked out on March. 3, the hotel charge me for about $200 dollars self-parking fee, although we didn’t park any vehicles under the garage. So we contact to the Customer Service for the billing error, BUT they said I have to PROVE for I didn’t park my car in hotel’s garage, how unbelievable and RIDICULOUS!! I DIDN’T KNOW I HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS!!!!!! So I ask them how about they prove I had parked any cars in hotel’s garage, then since them there was NO ONE want to deal with my problems, that is RIDICULOUS !!!!!!!!!! That makes me have to leave the comment here!"
"The hotel is old but patch work updated. The lobby was nice! The most shocking part of the stay was how much road noise came through the windows. Ive traveled a lot & I’ve never been able to hear what was going on outside. The bathroom was extremely small, I hate when the door touches me. The water heater needs to be cranked up because I had to take a warm shower unless I got up really early to shower & the water wasn’t extremely hot then. The next day, the maid came to clean the room, & used stained sheets - GROSS! Not her fault but still. I inspect everything. I called for more, they gave me 3 extra sheets - ALL WERE WET!!! The breakfast buffet is $32, didn’t waste my time going to see that, way cheaper & I’m sure better breakfast spots around. The hotel is downtown LA but not really close to much, long walk to the arena area, especially with all the homeless people around. I attached a few pictures of some of the patchy. The drip down the door needs to be cleaned, asap!"
"We stayed here from Saturday February 17 - Monday February 20. This place was less expensive than other hotels in the area for a reason. The valet area and lobby/bar area reeked of weed. Hinges to our bathroom door were loose, so door was hard to close. Only one elevator was working our first night so there was a huge line extending into the lobby. The stairs were fine but when up on the eighth floor, it would have been an issue if we had mobility trouble. There was a trash in the stairs to the parking garage first night and it was still there when we checked out. Room was fine but generally worn out. This place needs a remodel and to charge more. First night- we had incredibly noisy neighbors. A group of partying teenagers. They were blasting music, singing, knocking on our door and the shared door between our rooms. Front desk was called multiple times, they sent security to ask them to quiet down- which they did but then as soon as security walked away they were back at it. We were told that they were going to be kicked out after our second call, which was a lie. My partner called and asked to switch rooms, no dice since all rooms were full. They said they would take care of the room, they never did. I called again about the noisy neighbors and they said they would talk to them again and if it happens again they would call LAPD. The neighbors woke me up again at 4am, I called the front desk and they did nothing. The room was still noisy at 8am. All in all- they lied about taking care of the problem. If my partner hadn't paid for this and I did- I would have checked out after first night and done a charge back on my card. I would have had a better nights rest in my car on the street. If you decide to stay here- I hope you have a better experience than we did but I wouldn't chance it. You couldn't pay me to stay here or any other Hilton hotel again. I'll pay the extra to stay at a hotel that isn't neglected and cares about its guests."
"Hotel is outdated. Digital key card share doesn’t work. Rooms are super small. The breakfast is $36. Even as a Diamond member, you only get an $18 food credit so to charge $36 dollars for the same typical breakfast buffet that you would get at any other Hilton is insane. The “value” is absolutely not worth it. Only giving it 2 stars due to location. Wouldn’t stay here again."
"The hotel has a great location for downtown festivities. The decor seems a little worn but nice. There's a bar/lounge in the lobby area that's nice to relax in or meet up with others. There was a Japanese garden that was beautiful but we couldn't take advantage of it during our stay because of the rain. Most days, all year, would probably be lovely for relaxing and gathering with friends and/or family."
