"I was scared after I booked the room as I read so many bad reviews after booking . I saw pricing great for company name didn’t think twice on booking. I over prepared myself for traveling with kids as more than my usual. Tips mini odoban my usual disinfectant wipes , mini antibacterial hand wash, pop up air freshener-as it’s humid here California compare to what I’m used to. I feel for price of hotel the parking rates average out. Location is great for going to museums , universal , etc. my room was cleaned restocked daily. Parking was convenient as there was direct back entrance. Well lit always people in lobby nice ambiance. We spent most of the day out so the room served its purpose to sleep."
"This hotel is OLD. The rooms are DIRTY. If you are looking for a quick place to sleep near the airport with shuttle service, this may work. The rate was decent. However, don't expect a clean room. Not only was it dusty, but there were some insects (ants mostly) on the counter top and a roach, which I killed on the wall. The walls are dirty. The floor and other crevices were dirty. I was NOT laying my luggage on the floor - and I kept it sealed the entire time I was in the room. I was worried about the mattress and sheets, but they checked out okay. Although I slept on top of the blanket just in case. Maybe I should have complained, but I honestly didn't have time...it was a super quick overnight. There is a lack of food options. One coffee shop opened for a few hours in the early morning and a restaurant/bar which was hard to find the menu. The hotel has mostly convention/meeting space downstairs and that takes up a lot of the room at the hotel. The front desk staff was amazing and gave some great service. The shuttle driver also did a great job in getting us to the airport on time and took a side road to avoid all the traffic."
"The first room they put us in was sketchy, musty, and disgusting. It looked nothing like the photos. Breakfast was $23 per person for disappointing food. The shuttle was handy, however the drivers filled the shuttle to the brim which the signage said no one should be standing and there was limited railing to hold onto. My husband and a little girl held on to a window and a handicap ramp. There was only one restaurant in the hotel and the food options were laughable. Would you like a $25 basic turkey sandwich or a $22 basic burger? Also, if you are a hotel guest and drove you have to pay $50 a night to store your vehicle. And 50% of the time when we left/arrived the gate wouldn’t open and waited for someone to open it even after they “fixed” it many times before. I would not recommend staying here overall as it is way more money than it was worth. The pictures make the hotel seem way nicer than it actually was. Stay at the Marriott across the street for only a little more a night."
"We arrived on a busy Saturday evening. Upon checking in, I was told they didn’t have any double queen rooms (that we had booked and paid for) available and wouldn’t for at least an hour or so. I told them we had to have two queens or at least a queen and a sofa bed. I could tell the front desk staff truly wanted to make it work for us. After a few minutes they were able to provide us with a two queen beds. Front desk staff were very helpful and kind. We stayed in room 208 and although the whole place could use updates and a deep clean, our room was clean and nice. We called hospitality and requested a crib—they brought one up within minutes. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the towels were soft and clean. We did get an occasional whiff of weed through the night, but that’s not the hotel’s fault—it is definitely the inconsiderate, idiot guests who are smoking the pot! We had no issues with the shuttle—we got right on and made it to the airport quick at 5:15am! I waited to write a review until I knew that the $350 deposit was back on my card, it was this morning. We had no issues with this hotel and would stay again."
"Lobby is beautiful. Room 646 is disgusting. Dirty towels piled in bath tub. Bar of soap left in shower. Used towel at sink. Stain on rug in middle of room. No chair in the room even though there was a desk. Light from hallway not blocked by curtains. Phone didn’t work fully. Figured out to put it on speaker and dial front desk. We told them the bathroom wasn’t clean and he offered to send us towels even though we asked to switch rooms. The guy that brought our towels didn’t know we wanted the dirty ones removed. He said he didn’t have gloves, which is fair, but neither did we. He was inventive and used two trash bags to pick up the used towels. He said he would note the issue to the supervisor. But in the end the shower was obviously not cleaned before we checked in. Also beds had nasty pads on them covered by a loose sheet… not a fitted sheet. So it moved around easily exposing us to the yellowed mattress. Would never stay here again. Rather sleep in the rental car or airport. Heard banging in the middle of the night and maybe muffled yelling."
