"This hotel is amazing. The staff is incredibly helpful. The cleaning crew does an amazing job. Did I mention the staff? Great stay in a crazy city in America. Enjoy book a room here."
"Great boutique hotel! The room was spacious and clean. Beddings were comfortable and the room came with A/C and a mini fridge. There’s on-site parking for $20. Street parking is mostly available, but check street signs for specific hours. Ben at the front desk was extremely welcoming and accommodating."
"The manager was very nice and helpful during our stay. We accidentally booked the wrong day through priceline while planning a trip to the Getty and he was able to help us get everything squared away. Our room smelt very strongly of cleaning supplies which was a bit too strong and lasted the entire time we were there for one day and the night. But the location was perfect for all the things we wanted to do. The bathroom was very clean, but the room was very small."
"I had a great stay! Flew in from Oklahoma for some training. I am sure there are much fancier places, but I found it affordable comparatively. The front desk employees were all very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the center patio are with the tent cover, it was nice temperatures at night and a good place to sit and relax. As a side note, if you are doing training at the flagship Mathnasium and looking for somewhere close, this is within walking distance and surrounded by several excellent restaurants within a miles walk."
"A description that comes to mind when thinking about this place is a "boutique motel". Overall, it was a quiet stay for me during the Thanksgiving week with hardly any other guests around, so it was very serene. However, quite a few things could be improved. For one, the old coffee machines in the rooms could be replaced. The one in my room wasn't working properly, so I had to go to Starbucks in the morning which is about 5-minute walk from the hotel (not a big problem). Actually, thinking about it, it would be a very nice touch to offer coffee in the hotel's lobby for at least a couple hours in the morning. Would make the place feel more personable. Kind of like those B&Bs somewhere in a small French or English town. The room was (sort of) fine, although if I had to stay in that room longer than a couple days, I would have probably asked to be moved to the second floor or find a different hotel because my room didn't have any day light at all. The window was facing the "courtyard" that had a cover over it that made me think of a circus tent? Something along those lines. So, at any time of day the room was quite dark. Also, there was a musty smell in the room that made it quite unpleasant. On a more positive note, the bathroom was, what I would call, oversized. One more aspect to be aware of, is the $20 daily parking. If you stay for a few days, it will add up. But that's the issue with a lot of hotels in the Los Angeles area. Everyone tries to charge their guests as much as possible. Overall, a 2-day stay at this hotel was okay, but I wouldn't call this a "vacation-type" accommodation. There aren't any amenities, really. I was actually doing some remote work while staying at this place, and at some point really wanted to go and work outside for a bit, just to get some air. But the hotel doesn't offer that option. There is no outside sitting area or a small garden or anything like that. Oh, well."
