Holiday Inn Express Walnut Creek, an IHG Hotel

"Stayed here a few nights and the room was very comfortable. Great location with good restaurants nearby. It was a little noisy at night but the interstate and a busy main street. Breakfast was average. Shout out to Ivette for taking good care of us at the front desk and getting a much needed late checkout."

"Nice hot breakfast, no hot water. Nobody should stay in a hotel without hot water (unless you like cold showers). I let the water run for over ten minutes a day the water was barely luke warm (which feels pretty cold for showers!) I feel so lucky i want traveling with my toddler."

"The rooms are very old and need an update. The service makes all the difference, fantastic. Breakfast is adequate. Parking is good, for a fee. Easy to hop on the freeway or go to town, by car. Wifi is kinda slow but works."

"It's a nice hotel. The breakfast was good daily. Hearty. Decent options. Microwave and fridge in rooms and pet friendly. The only initial issue we had in our room was one of the beds. We had two Queen beds and one of them had food crumbs and hair throughout when we pulled back the covers. And then there were a few dead ants on the outside comforter. We didn't know what the issue but that bed clearly was not changed from the previous person by house keeping. The other bed seemed better but we just changed all sheets. We called the front and asked for 2 sets of sheets, pillowcases and comforters. They were very prompt in helping us with no problem. We changed the beds and moved on!"

"We were more than pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Reasonably priced for the Bay Area with PLENTY of parking (we have a large 4x4 truck with canopy). The rooms were roomy and had all the goodies you would expect. The hotel is very clean, quiet and comfortable. Hot tub and pool were up and running. FULL breakfast was included and tasted great. Staff and service were 5 star as well. Nothing is inexpensive in this area. This hotel, for us, was a great value and we will be back"
