"One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Checked in late for a single night’s stay during a weekend trip and the front desk person was really rude. I came into the lobby from the pouring rain and the guy took 10 minutes to talk to me. There was no one else there. I paid in advance through their website during booking and he told me there was a $150 deposit. It was almost twice the cost of my actual stay. This was never disclosed during booking, payment, or even when I called to ask about my reservation. When I hesitated, he told me “Well, you’re already here.” It was almost midnight, I only needed a night’s stay, and it was storming, so I paid it. The room was fine, although loud and strange people were milling around outside. The free breakfast the next morning was from 6:30-9:30am. Only a waffle machine, apples, cereal, and three yogurt cups. Juice machine empty, no milk, no other food options. Asked the new front desk person if anything could be refilled, they said no. It was only about halfway through breakfast. When I went to check out, the lady didn’t even ask for the room cards back. Overall, a really bad experience. Rude staff. Bad amenities. I’ve literally never left a review for a place before but this hotel was so upsetting. Stayed at another Quality Inn up in Woodland the next day and it was a completely different (and better) experience, so this one is definitely just a problem. Management needs to do better."
"Wasn't going to leave a review, but the front desk person was so rude I feel the need to. In the morning I was checking out early to go to work so I called the front desk twice (no on answered), then I went to the front desk and it was closed. So I ran back up to my room to put my card inside. At this point I was in my car ready to go to work and decided to call one more time before leaving. On the corner of my eye I see someone come out from somewhere in the back of the office, and the phone was answered. I told him I needed to checkout early to go to work so I left my card in my room. He said, ''I'm right here in the office". My card was in the room so I couldn't retrieve it anymore. I told him that and said I just want to checkout. He then started to give me attitude saying, "is that you in the car?" and "Dude I see you right there." and "So, you're not going to checkout the right way?" With a tone implying that their would be consequences. My problem is that in the 10 minutes I was trying to get someone at the front desk no one was responding. Then he had the audacity to be frustrated with me. He wasn't helping another customer or working on anything. As he didn't mention any of that, just attitude. Frankly I think he was sleeping. Also people are just walking around at night mumbling things like zombies. People in other rooms will bump music that will vibrate your room. This didn't bother me much, but at this point might as well give the fullest review."
"Rooms are dirty , carpet is stained. Tv didn’t work , heater didn’t work, just a hot mess . Then the housekeeping’s supervisor told the front desk employee that she wasn’t going to service our room because the towels were dirty and they found ashes , when she should of asked what the ashes were from instead of assuming we smoked , ashes were from sage , and towels were dirty because they were used. We have kids , that make spills so yeah we used the towel to clean it up duhh. Everybody lazy and hate they job ."
"I HIGHLY recommend you do not stay at this hotel. The night front employee Greg is incompetent. He does not have authority to give out any pillow or extra blankets although I was freezing."
"I like this hotel because it was affordable on a weekend that had a event and cause other hotels to shoot their prices up Sky high. The location is also convenient because it is on a street where there are plenty of fast food restaurants as well as other stores like walmart, Dollar Tree and cvs. The rooms were nice and I was very happy to see a refrigerator and microwave. There's also large bottles of lotion, conditioner and shampoo that is attached to the wall and easy to dispense. I also like the long mirror that was on the wall. Made it easy to see the outfit I was wearing. I did not have an issue with any noise disturbances outside. The continental breakfast would have been nice if there was more food. I was hoping for eggs and bacon but that's okay. I'm just happy that I was close to the lobby because Wi-Fi was excellent and I really depend on that to do business on my phone and tablet"
