Staybridge Suites Fairfield Napa Valley Area, an IHG Hotel

"My family and I stayed at this place this past weekend. I noticed that my room's carpet was damped as I walked in. It was especially notably damped in the bedroom area. Staff reported that the carpet was washed 2 days ago. I asked to be moved to a different room. I had a baby with me who crawled and it just wasn't comfortable. Erika, the manager, came to inspect and obviosuly couldn't feel what I was feeling since she had shoes on. She was trying to feel it with her hands to see what areas were still damped. She started to ask me if we possibly dropped soda. I told her that if soda was dropped, then that is what I would report to her. A couple of my family members were there too and they all felt that carpet all over the living area and the bedroom was damped and moisty. It is not just one spot, it is everywhere. However, after further inspection, she put the fan in my room and offered 10% discount. While checking out, I inquired about the 10% discount and the front desk assistant told me that they need to ivestigate this matter further. I found myself perplexed when Sophia, the front desk attendant, asserted that there would be no discount due to the carpet being wet from a soda spill. This contradicted both my experience and the discussion I had with Erika, the manager, during her inspection. Frustrated by this inconsistency, I requested to speak directly with Erika, only to be informed that she was unavailable and unreachable. Feeling dismissed and increasingly upset by the implication of dishonesty, I expressed my frustration to the staff. Despite my attempts to communicate my dissatisfaction and seek understanding, they seemed indifferent and showed no willingness to address my concerns. In lieu of offering a resolution, they simply asked me to grab the business card of the general manager, Tamara Jones, suggesting I report my grievances directly to her. Long story short, I came here to relax and enjoy time with my family and let's just say I came out of this place deeply upset and disappointed. As a part time travel agent, I was looking forward to offering this place to my clients, However, based on this encounter, I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone in the future."

"I find it very peaceful and relaxing if you have the right company that is. I can't rate it 5 stars because I was only with a friend but if I was with someone that I loved then my experience would have been amazing, well anywhere is amazing when you're in love. I Appreciate the opportunity to be at this property and hopefully one day I will return."

"We had a very good comforting stay here for a few nights.. nice friendly staff.. clean rooms.. decent foods.. great atmosphere.. definitely will be back if need be.. definitely Recommend other folks to stay here!! Fire pit.. outside court yard.. pool . Hot tub.. y'all gotta try! And GYM!!"

"I stayed here for a weekend after a life transition. It was so relaxing and the breakfast was good too, the first morning. The second morning, their kitchen staff called out, so we had to go next door for breakfast to their neighboring hotel, and unfortunately, the food didn't look good, so I didn't try any of it. I will definitely stay here again. I really enjoyed myself and was able to relax."

"My sweetie got us a night here for my birthday, and it was just what I wanted! I do wish the hot tub had been available (I even packed my swimsuit!!), but maybe next time. Loved the included breakfast, and that it was pet friendly."
