About the Business
The Assistance League of Inland North County is a nonsectarian, nonpolitical, nonprofit organization located in Escondido, California. Our all-volunteer team serves children and families in need through nine charitable and philanthropic programs in the Inland North County area of San Diego. Our Thrift & Consignment Shop, voted the Best Thrift Shop in North County for two consecutive years, is our primary source of funding for these programs. We are proud to have been named the Nonprofit of the Year by the Greater Escondido Chamber of Commerce in 2023. Our organization also supports Palomar College through grants and scholarships. We regularly make presentations to various groups and organizations in the community. Connect with us on social media and join us in giving back to the community. Visit our shop or get involved in our programs to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

"The team unloaded our car quickly."
"An extremely rude employee denied me entrance to the thrift shop because she said my stroller wagon was too big if she had said it kindly I wouldn’t have a mind I made it halfway into the store when she screamed at me I could come in I have 3 small children so it’s a necessity I go everywhere with my stroller and I have never been denied entrance or service to a store very disappointed I will never be back and let it be known they refuse mothers with stroller wagons 0 stars .there was, however, a very kind elderly woman that allowed me in at first the horrid 60something-year-old women denied me entrance horrible customer service if you're going to volunteer maybe not be so miserable valley thrift is better and 10 x more cluttered and I’ve never had a problem ."
"Really good stuff especially clothes for women. It would be 5 stars, but at least one of the volunteers is one of those skinny old snobs that just cannot bring herself to not be catty."
"One of the best thrift stores ever! Great staff, always kind and helpful, great prices, nice merchandise, clean and well done!"
"Very friendly volunteers, well organized, good sales and decent selection of items considering how small the store is. They're only open Tue & Fri, but I'm not sure if that's a regular thing or if it has to do with covid. The limited hours may possibly explain how busy it was when I went."
