"This Macy's located in the Westfield Shopping Center in Escondido, California, must be fairly old as it clearly shows its age. Floors are cracked and discolored, counters and displays are very aged-looking and not conducive to highlighting the merchandise. The lighting is dull and dim and somewhat depressing, and the overall appearance is not up to the usual Macy's standards. There appears to be a shortage of staff in this store as we were forever looking for help and couldn't find any employees. Worst of all, the merchandise was extraordinarily sparse, and when we did find something we liked, there wasn't the correct size or any staff to help us find what we wanted to purchase. I'll assume the pandemic has gotten the better of this particular Macy's store and forgive some of its shortcomings. When we return to San Diego in another month or two, we'll give this store another look-see to find out if they've gotten their act together. Until then, I'll give this store three stars to grown on with our future visit. RECOMMENDED: Okay SERVICE: non-existent PRICE: $$$ COVID: Practices pandemic regulations. PARKING: Convenient but very crowded. REASON/INTENT: Shopping"
"Beautiful place , very good ambience. A good many varieties of yummy dishes. Would definitely go again. I recommend that all should go there once. Everything served in clay pots, plates are made of leaves . Very eco friendly which is why I like this place more!"
