St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store 6301 Odana Road, Madison, WI 53719

"For starters, I just purchased a cup TWO DAYS before I went to this store and it was in PERFECT CONDITION. (No leaks/ No dents/ No cuts/ No burns). When I go to the store and it’s time for me to leave and pay for my items, I accidentally left my cup at the cash register. A bit upset because I didn’t want to lose my brand new cup, especially knowing that I left it at a secondhand store. I call the store but I was already halfway home when I realized, and I live nowhere near close to the store. Eventually, I get in contact with them. At first, I was told that they didn’t see the cup, but I didn’t take that for an answer cause I eagerly wanted my cup back, knowing that was a spoon full of bull. But eventually, they told me they had the cup, and it was just a mistake or whatever. And I scheduled to pick it up the next day and when I receive my cup it has dents all over it. And now, suddenly, it’s leaking at the bottom it appears to me that the rubber that was underneath that cut the cup clothes was BURNT. I don’t know if the employees was upset that I wanted my cup back or whatever it was, but it was in poor care even when I came to pick it up the day after, and I am highly outraged about my new cup."

"It's a nice store and most employees are nice. I found three things I wanted to buy, but they didn't have price tags. Cashier told me she couldn't sell them to me. Please make sure everything is priced or allow the Manager to put a price on it. Thanks."

"This St. Vincent in Madison Wi Odana Rd. is absolutely wonderful. I have never had a bad experience. The employees are very helpful and truly pleasant. It is 30 minutes from me but well worth the trip. They have a wide variety of goods and a nice jewelry counter."

"Thrift stores everywhere have gotten worse, but St. Vincent sticks out. There's simply no grounds for a pretense of such a store, and canned response of "we're trying to get the most donations" doesn't cut it. Way out of touch. Zero "thrift". You're better off going anywhere else and then donating with the savings."

"Thrift store with lots of nice items. Clothes seem a bit pricier than other thrift stores but it is in Madison. Large selection of furniture and clothes. You can also find books, toys, shoes & household items here. Parking is ample although exiting and entering can be tricky as Odana Road seems to be a busy street all the time.
