"Staff are friendly but the prices here are outrageous. I have never been to a thrift store that charges as much as this place does."
"This thrift store is very expensive everything is way over priced you are better off going to Burlington and get brand new clothes cheaper than this dump"
"Horrible!!! We moved and downsized leaving us with items we wanted to donate. A lot of the items are new and gently used. Very inconsistent acceptance of donations and very rude and dismissive. Hours posted online don’t match hours of acceptance, I feel sad because I don’t want to throw away good, usable items."
"We love our local Salvation Army! I typically go in looking for something specific and end up leaving with a bunch of fun things to enjoy. We love getting clothes here for the whole family. There are a lot of gently used and new clothes. Over the years I’ve purchased furniture, purses, books, jewelry, and more."
"I’ve always been a fan of Sal Army, and what they stand for (helping the community and giving to those less fortunate etc). And I will still support Sal Army, but this location made me re think that, when one day I decided to come in to check out the sale they had going on 50% off store wide all clothing. When I first walked in I asked the cashier if the sale was indeed 50% off store wide, and she said yes that’s correct. But then I hear her mumble “yeah if you can find anything good left” followed by a small laugh, I didn’t think anything of it. But then when I was checking out, she had the nerve to ask to see inside my purse, and didn’t ask anyone else (other women who had purses who had been shopping in the store at the same time I was) to check their purses. I was completely offended because why would I steal from a thrift store (everything is either used or broken that they try to sell to make money off of!!!!) this is the same lady who saw me come in and I asked about the store wide sale in the beginning. Her response was “oh I didn’t see you come in wearing a purse” that’s why I had to check. Um no you didn’t you’re just profiling me because you think I’m cheap or poor and can’t afford to even shop at a thrift store. Which my total ended up being $22 originally $44 but they had the 50% off store wide sale going on. And the cashier while she was checking me out just kept talking and talking to try to make the situation seem lighter or lesser than it was because they had to ask to see into my purse when it’s like I don’t wanna hear anything you have to say you’ve offended me as a customer, I am a paying customer, but no longer will I come to this place of business to give them my money so they can accuse me of stealing from a thrift store. Poor customer service all around!!!!!"
