"Just left there without what I intended to purchase. Why? Only one cashier working and evidently a customer could not remember her PIN number for her credit or debit card. So she walked out. Leisurely. Cashier just stood there. I asked her politely to move another customer and myself along. She said she had to wait for the one that walked out. Wrong answer. She should have rang up a no sale.and taken care of us that were ready. I dropped my goods in the bagging area ,said I didn't want it. She told me my action was rude. Won't waste my time there again."

"I'm still carrying a grudge that Dollar Tree isn't a dollar any more. There are still things in here at that price but inflation made it so that most stuff is now $1.25 and since that bubble burst, there are $5 items too. Oh, well. Quite well stocked in the candy section and since my visit was still before Halloween, I stocked up and bought a few small bags of candy and a bowl so that yes, there is "Free Candy!" in the van. (I ended up leaving it with my friend in Minneapolis after eating too much of it myself.) Clean aisles and no trash on the floors. The shelves were nicely stocked and looking good. An unusual five stars Dollar Tree experience."

"This location isn’t the biggest nor does it have really a lot of selective items that other dollar trees have, but the reason I gave 5 stars is because every time I come here I mostly get the same cashier, Marcia, and she’s just so sweet, soft spoken and kind. Like she super exceeds being a cashier, it totally makes coming here such a better experience, so thank you Marcia!"

"Hastings Dollar Tree always has a lot of fun things. Today we went in for plastic spoons and ended up getting a bunch of craft supplies and a few other things! The employee that checked us out was very sweet. She took time to wrap my breakables. We always love coming in to see what the new display is, right now it’s Shore Living, a bunch of sea inspired decor."
