"Love Walmart, they have everything anyone could want!!!"
"I’d prefer to give you a negative star rating. Only wish I could. Tristan, Walmart phone salesman, lied about many things. Ok, he’s new, but I was asking him basic simple questions. Lol, like can I use my iPhone car charger to charge the android. He said, “ I think so. “ Cmon even I know that won’t work. I should’ve walked at that point. But time & money. Had no idea I’d be wasting so much time & money dealing with these heartless ruthless men. Asked him if I don’t like it can I return the Verizon phone to Ladysmith Walmart, it’s much closer? He said definitely yes. When asked how much my bill would be he said $70 a month. Within 7 days I received a bill for $126.00 and another for $94. A far cry from $70. that Tristan quoted. In less than 2 weeks, I got 2 bills, the phone I bought, an android, $160., reception was spotty in Hawkins. Phone was hot after the first few hours of charging. So another 2-1/2 drive awaits me. Drove to Ladysmith where there were 4 guys standing around, no customers in store shopping, & Jeremy the manager, was there. They said I had to return the phone to Ladysmith. It’s 45 minutes from Hawkins to Ladysmith another 45 minutes to rice lake. So I drive up to rice lake. Much bigger store, where I returned it. Then I went to AT&T afterwards, phones are a necessity. No misrepresentation there. Got a google phone, drove back home with an AT&T provider phone. Absolutely no reception. I had to drive all the way back up to Rice Lake again returned the AT&T phone. Another 2-1/2 hours and gas & returned it. Went to rice lake Walmart again, bought a trac phone, Tristan was the only one there. Double the size of the Ladysmith store. He did tell me he was unable to activate it for me. But he let me walk out the store without buying a card to activate it. Figured I could stop on the way home, pick up a card in Ladysmith. I knew the manager Jeremy was at Ladysmith Walmart phone center. I did realize I needed a card. Thanks again Tristan, Bought the card in Ladysmith, sked if they could help me initialize it, I had just moved here from Illinois. There was no one in the store shopping at the phone center. Four sales people were there. They were doing nothing but watching me. I was told they could not help me with the phone it was against corporate policy. Even though the directions in the TracFone said to stop at the kiosk in Walmart and they will help activate it. I begged them to help because I know no one here to impose on to use their phone & help set up the new TracFone. Questioning them, should I go to the police department or the fire department and have them help me? Oh they were told not to help the customer with trac phones, corporate policy. Guess because they make no commission. They all seemed to be enjoying leaving me stranded. Staring at me, like they were the phone gurus. So I left the store after I bought my card. I went across the street to the actual Verizon store. Where I met Packer. He set my phone up for me. He was so sweet and knowledgeable and kind hearted. I needed my medication and I was unable to call my doctor to get my medicine. But Walmart phone employees could care less about their customers. Commission is more important than people. My closing statement, please don’t buy anything from the phone department at the Walmart stores. Horrible customer service. I suggest you go to the Verizon store in Ladysmith where Packer can help you with a heart and empathy and integrity & an enjoyable personality. He made no commission but he was a good man and cared. So he took his time out even with other customers in the store and helped set my phone up. Of course I’m buying accessories at that Verizon store on any of my future needs!!! Go to the Verizon store in Ladysmith. Packer, you are the real man. He is the go to guy for your new phones."
"The OSL employees are very helpful for all your cell phone needs."
"Ok just doing shopping"
"Staff need more training but decent selection of electronic devices and accessories"
