"Sonia Ortiz & Ohana Childcare is simply ...awesome! Mrs. Sonia and her staff are very well organized, attentive to each child’s needs, compassionate, and fun. They keep the home clean, safe and take the time at drop-off/ pick-up to discuss any concerns or needs you may have as well as give you a summary of the day. Our daughter (now 3 y.o.) started while potty training and Sonia was very patient and helpful throughout the whole process. As you can imagine, continuity from home to ‘school’ was critical! Mission accomplished! Ohana puts a lot of effort into creating activities that are enriching and stimulating! They regularly sing songs, complete projects, learn shapes and letters including ASL (sign language) and spanish vocabulary. It’s really cool to see how much our daughter has picked up! They also play outback on the play set, bikes, power cars and take excursions to Mapleton Park. The kids also have dance parties, movie ‘nights’ and gameplay. Our daughter, along with many of the littles, still nap daily. This is important to us and our child’s overall wellbeing. Overall, we are impressed with Sonia’s loving care for each child, overall setup and tremendous energy level! Sonia is flexible, so if you have a specific request or need, just ask."

"Miss Sonia provides childcare for my three-year-old and occasionally my five-year-old. She has been working very hard helping my three-year-old learn how to write and he looks so forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays at Miss Sonia's house. He actually cried when I picked him up on his first day because he loves her house so much and didn't want to leave. Her home is clean, organized, and perfectly set up for childcare. The children get plenty of outside time and wholesome snacks and meals. I have enrolled my son in several preschools and daycares, and this is by far the best one, as she exceeds my expectations every day. I always get a receipt when I pay and each day have an evaluation of what happened and what my son learned, ate, and napped. She is very thorough and I would recommend her to all of my friends and family."
