"I've been here a few times for ammo, the wait is definitely an issue especially when you see staff members walking around and you waiting in line waiting for help. Waited for about 20 minutes in the ammo line and we was the first one in line just had to wait for help. Then when we got help damn near everything was sold out! I will say once you're being helped staff is friendly, knowledgeable, they just move very very slow."
"The employees behind the gun counter are not properly trained in firearms assembly. They will pretend that they are. Be careful. They broke my shotgun worth 2k. I had just purchased it waited my ten days and went to pick it up. I asked them if they knew how to assemble the weapon because I unfortunately did not. They started to scrape the metal components of my Browning shotgun and then whenever it did not snap together like it was supposed to. They started manhandling it. They forced it together and then blatantly lied to my face about how new guns are not broken in yet and are hard to put together sometimes. Whenever they went to disassemble my gun a spring flew out of it and they started saying how I was liable for that even though they were the ones who broke it. I ended up having to ship it back to Browning for repairs. Brand new shotgun with permanent gouges in the metal and parts already being replaced. Don't trust the employees behind the counter. They are not properly trained in firearms assembly."
"These guys need to get their act together. I came in to fill out the paperwork for a gun I had already purchased. After grabbing a ticket I stood there for 50 minutes without getting helped, nor did the ticket numbers progress. Finally someone asked me what I was there for, and when I told him he said that the store would be closing soon and I would have to come back. I decided to get my purchase refunded because I have no plans of doing any future business with this store. The next morning I called the store to express my dissatisfaction. First I tried to call the appropriate department but they didn't pick up after a full minute of ringing. Then I called customer service. After a long wait they finally picked up, at which point I asked to speak to the manager. They put me on hold for five minutes and then I got hung up on. I had to call another five times before anyone answered, at which point I finally got an answer and got successfully transferred. It was a completely distasteful and unprofessional experience. UPDATE: When I was there they said that I could call the main customer service to get my gift card refunded. I called the main customer service and asked them to do so, which they said they would. Then I called back a few days later to check and see if this had been done, but this time they said that the original person was wrong and actually the card wasn't refunded. I ONLY FOUND THIS OUT BECAUSE I DECIDED TO FOLLOW UP AND MAKE SURE THEY ACTUALLY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. They did not, nor did they contact me to say they had made a mistake. Based on what they told me the first time I could have thrown away the gift card believing it was empty. I'd like to give fewer stars based on this update but I already gave one star. Terribly disappointing service. In other news I went to my local Turner's Outdoorsman and made my purchase there instead. Excellent service there. Go there instead!"
"Customer service is great, but whomever is in charge of purchasing… wow! The lack of hunting apparel is tremendous… How about culling down on the regular clothing. Where are the wading boots? How about some fishing vests? How about a better selection of Panther Martins. I just came from the Sportsman's in St. George, Utah and that is a store. I understand the differences in location, but how about stocking a little more like other locations such as St. George and Cedar City."
"Really nice store! A little bit of everything for outdoorsy activities. Staff was friendly, store is nice and roomy. Lots to look at. Looks like a decent gun selection, ammo looked low but that's everywhere in California and maybe I went on a day before they stock again. They have a lot of supplies if you are a backpacker. Looks like a good fishing section too. I'm excited they have the tire tubes for going tubing.. now I just need to find a river! I'll go here next time I need anything for a camping trip!"
