"Purchased a glass item at the shop and before ringing it up I asked the clerk to verify the quality because he did not let me inspect it after taking out of display case. He said it was fine and during our conversation mentioned I could return it if it was defective. Upon purchase, I walked 20 feet to my car. Inspected the item myself closely and noticed a crack and deteriorating material on the item. I went right back inside and was given a hard time when I asked for the situation to be rectified. The clerk claimed that I broke it, when I told him about the defects. After grilling me repeatedly he finally exchanged for a different item. All good until he yells at me on the way out: "Don't break this one!" in front of another customer. I get it, nobody likes to work weekends, but that was out of line."
