"Yesterday I bought an open box washing machine for almost 800 dollars. He helped me get it into my truck and he told me to just tie it up. We put it in like he said, but I never realized that there was no security tape on the doors and on the way home the lid opened and The glass exploded I tried to see if they could help me in some way but they only gave me a number to order the part it was my fault for not checking but incompetent people who don't do their job well now the problem is mine when an employee helped me put it in and I continued Your instructions I can't believe that less prestigious stores do put security tape on Best Buy Now I have a year of membership for nothing they don't help in any way they did to help me I wasn't looking for a refund I just wanted an exchange but even that I won't return to Best Buy"

Recently, I visited this store to return an item that was slightly past the return window (holiday purchase). Despite this, they accommodated my request with minimal hassle, recognizing my loyalty as a long-time customer. While I could have gone through the process of returning directly to the manufacturer, Best Buy's hassle-free process reinforced my commitment to continue supporting them in the future. Thank you!"

"I visited the Best Buy store in lakewood blvd Downey to purchase an Oculus. Before arriving, it was 8:15 pm. Prior to my visit, I called the Lakewood Best Buy Google phone number, and the representative advised me to go to the store, price match the item, and pay through PayPal after sending the link. He assured me that I could then pick up the item. However, upon arriving at the store, the staff informed me that they no longer use the PayPal link system, and even if I were to place the order online, I wouldn’t be able to pick it up the same day. Furthermore, they stated that they couldn’t honor the price match, which contradicted what the customer service representative had told me on the phone. Then i spoke with the manager and he was rude and didn’t assist me at all. I spent approximately 30 minutes on the call with customer service, and I had to drive 30 minutes to the store. Additionally, I waited in the checkout line for 25 minutes. Unfortunately, I had to leave the store empty-handed. To add to the frustration, the person at the register treated me with suspicion and even scrutinized my receipt. I’ve been a satisfied customer of Best Buy in the past, but this incident has left me extremely dissatisfied. On the same day, I ended up making my purchase from Target instead. I feel compelled to share this experience and express my disappointment with the customer service and miscommunication at the store. I will be posting a review on Google to inform others about my encounter.” I have been a loyal best buy customer for 10 years and i would not consider buying anything from best buy from today onwards."

"I don’t know if it’s this particular location or the company as a whole. This place really went downhill. This was my go to place for many years to get games, movies, stereos, tv’s. Not any more. Seems like whenever I go in, shelves and hooks are empty. No games, no movies, no employees to help. Then when you do find someone, they’re an idiot and they don’t what they’re talking about. I end up having to school them on their own products. Then they close at 8 for some reason, now. Probably because it’s turning into Frye’s. The last few times I’ve walked in there, I’ve left empty handed because they don’t bother to stock anything or higher competent people. Update: this is what I mean by downhill. Went ready to spend $400 on a car stereo, and it’s all blocked off. But hey, we can easily grab an electric lawnmower, because that’s what Best Buy is known for."
