"So...this dogpark is in a great location..except the police do not enforce drug use policies and there is a large homeless population that are close and will make you feel uncomfortable. Seems like if you spend that much money on a park and have that many people spending big money to stay in a area you would make the people spending that money feel safe using that facility..there are better options in the city for safety and not to see open drug use."
"Nice tiny spot to let your dog run. Nothing fancy or large but big enough to get their energy out. Separate cages for small and large dogs. Water spout available also."
"Its a very nice area. The view, with a large dog area. Restrooms. Hammocks. Open area and convenient if you want to walk or park. BUT I was very disappointed that the water fountains didnt work. The high was 82° and my dog after playing at the park was very parched. So pack water to go to the dog park in the "winter"."
"Great spot to let your pup off leash. We’re in town for a conference at the Music City Center and this park is perfectly placed allowing us to travel with our dog. Google maps makes it seem like you have to follow some walking path to access the dog park, but it is in fact directly accessible from Demonbreun and 1st. This park is mostly turf and gravel which is nice since it minimizes opportunity for our pup to get dirt. There was also doggie bag and a doggie water fountain."
"Great little city dog park. It’s mostly turf with a gravel perimeter so your dog has little chance of getting dirty. Our dog can get dirty at almost every dog park she visits, but not at this one. It’s clean and well kept and has some nice landscaping. There are ample picnic tables and log benches for seating and a water fountain. No access code, card, or fob needed; it’s free to everyone. The only downside is that there is no parking, so the park is mostly used by locals living nearby. We visited during a Titans game (the stadium is right across the river) and we had to drive around a few times to find non-event free parking. There were also only a few dogs in the park which might have been because of the game and/or the gloomy weather. Our dog still had fun anyway."
