"I had veggie karakka spicy ramen and it was best veggie ramen I had date. The broth was spicy and tasty and I added a soft boiled egg to top it. The combination worked really well and tasted amazing."
"Fast service, fast food. Literally sat down and had my food writhing 5 minutes. Taste was okay. Had the spicy broth was told it was middle spicy. At first you don’t feel it but then it creeps slowly up on you. Would say it is definitely low to mid spicy. The only complaint is price. Coke, ramen with egg, pork bun, and 15% tip came out to $40 for one person. That’s more than SF prices for the same thing. If it is going to the workers and they are paid handsomely then it’s fine."
"I went to Ippudo Berkeley, a Japanese restaurant. We ordered their selection of Buns (we could choose 3 of their buns) and we ordered 2 chicken buns and one pork bun. The buns were lovely! Must try again."
"Closes on the early side but exactly the amazing ramen and buns you might expect, with impeccable service. A carafe of sake and a couple bowls of ramen is all we needed. We got both the normal and veggie akamaru with a poached egg. Yum!"
"One of my favorite ramen places! If you get a bun, the chicken bun is a must-have. The crispness, crunch, and the sauce are incredible. The noodles were well-cooked and the broth was delicious. My friend and I shared one bowl and it was the perfect portion for us since we had a late lunch and stopped by a dessert shop before an early dinner. We thought we had to wait for 20-30 minutes for a table for 2 at a busy dinner hour but we didn’t wait long! About 15 minutes. Reasonable prices, and friendly staff. When we come back we’re trying the other buns and getting extras of the chicken bun!"
