Pizza Twist - Berkeley, CA

"I stopped in on my bike ride commute home and was greeted by a kind homeless man watching TV -- just like Bob's donuts in the good ole days. I rang the bell and Nate came from the back to take my order. I asked him what a pizza twist was and he said it was Indian style pizza. I asked for recommendations and he gave me several delicious sounding ones, of which I chose the butter chicken. While I was waiting he gave me a slice of curry pizza from the back and I knew I was in for a treat. When he brought the finished pizza out, he made sure to show me what it looked like before I hopped on my bike and made a mess... And it did look beautiful. I love delicious pizza, but I love people who are proud of their work even more. Stop in, you won't regret it."

The guy at the register (owner I think) was very nice and friendly and helped me pick the pizza I actually really enjoyed! Wow, the ingredients are clean and fresh and the crust is just perfect- not too thin and not too thick, perfectly crispy. The flavors are amazing and I will definitely be bringing my kids here next time! Thank you and good luck!"
