"TWRA managed lake that charges an access fee. Lake has panfish, bass, and catfish. Success is hit or miss. Can be a nice way to enjoy the day with your family. Boat rentals are available, but gas-powered engines are not allowed. Also no swimming."

"My husband and I, along with our puppy, went here to fish. We rented a boat w trolling motor for only $25 , their bait is reasonably priced also. My husband is an avid fisherman and has been since he was a child. Upon his first cast he got a largemouth bass. I didn't have not one bite in 4 hours BUT right at sunset I cast out with a piece of hotdog and BAM blue catfish. Pretty decent size. That's all we caught but it was fun and had a great time. We love to fish and our pup enjoyed it as well"

"We have fished a lot of local places and this is one we have gone back to. Marrowbone is very lovely & never too crowded. It’s cleaner than some state parks and there are about 6 total docks/platforms to fish from. Plenty of parking & if you drive down a nearby road there is a mock pirate ship (private property but still cool to see) Agree with other posts the scenery is great but we have never caught more than a few fish on any trip."
