"Worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office. Dr. Hunter and her staff are very unprofessional. I felt extremely dirty leaving this office. Plus, the office mixed up my blood work results, and Dr. Hunter herself apologized to me and said the results are invalid. She told me not to worry about them even though there were concerning levels of different markets on the bloodwork. She said since part of it is invalid and did not come back to not worry about any of it. I was then charged for all of the bloodwork even after she told me it was invalid. I went into the office to discuss this and she told me to handle it with the lab and if I wanted to discuss it with her, I needed to book another appointment because “she doesn’t work for free.” Horrible, horrible experience. If you care about your health, go somewhere else please."

"Not a good place to go to!! I am in a treatment program and was going to an outside doctor and I thought since I was in the program it would be easier to switch to their doctor that everyone else goes to. But no, she asked me why they sent me here and said she had been calling me why wasn’t I answering for her. If I had missed any calls from you I would’ve called you back but I’ve had no missed calls, and obviously I was wanting to go to the doctor the program offers because it would be easier. She even looked to see when I got my last prescription so it’s not like I was trying to do anything out of the way. Her words were I’ve been here a month n a half and I went to another doctor, so I need to go back to them she won’t do anything for me. I don’t understand how that would be a reason to not accept me as a patient, but it’s okay because the looks of everything I was better off staying with my doctor before. I’m sure if it was any other kind of doctors office it wouldn’t matter if I went to a different one before. Either way I don’t want a doctor that opens their office at 8 am and comes in late, flying into the parking lot doing 40 mph just to walk in and be nothing but rude. Honestly a waste of my time. Just remember doctor hunter DOES NOT accept patients that went to a doctor before her!!"

"She was very rude I accidentally called her hunni sorry I'm southern. And she DEMANDED ME TO CALL HER DR her exact words was. MY NAMES DR HUNTER AN THAT US EXACTLY WHAT YOU WILL CALL ME. she didn't act like she even cared about my father. I told her why my dad's blood pressure might be high which was due to stress AND SHE SNAPPED AT ME TOLD ME STRESS WOULDN'T RAISE HIS BLOOD PRESSURE. So she's not wise need to go back to school an if she gonna play christian needs to act it I see nothing but a snakes christian posts all over the office but acts like a wolf in sheep's clothing be cautious ⚠️"

Hunter MD is also the very few African American Female Physician with her very own Medical Office here in Knoxville. She has been my primary care physician since 2009 and has kept me in great health so I can be here for my two kids. Whenever I would call to make a doctors appointment, she would go out off her way to take care of me. Dr.Teri L. Hunter has always called in my prescriptions to CVS Pharmacy located on Clinton hwy. She has been very professional and has provided me with excellent medical care for a decade now."
