"Horrible experience with Dr. Jessica tucker. She was cold and not empathetic at all when my son had to have a spacer removed! We made the appointment because his spacer was becoming infected and had an abscess. ( the area was already sore!).… She explained to me he would not feel any pain!, advised us NOT to have any numbing for the procedure for some reason! She said it wasn't necessary! I TRUSTED what she was saying, that he didn't need the numbing, she had me then sign a paper for consent.. almost immediately into the process I could see my son was flinching /squirming.. my 10 year old is usually TOUGH he never cries for any pain if he falls etc…I heard him try to say "ow".…. she knew he was feeling pain! she didn't stop not once to ask if he was okay, didn't stop to numb it, she just kept on prying, tears silently streaming down his face! blood coming down the side of his cheek! …(aren't dentists supposed to minimize the amount of pain you feel as much as possible??). My son doesn't like to cry in front of people!! I will never forget the look he had on his face for a good 30 min after he finally sat up! This happened several months ago and I still do this day am very upset over it and her lack of compassion as a pediatric dentist! Never again!"
