"I’m disappointed I came to this Nurse practitioner and was honest. Telling her I was having troubles sleeping, over taking Benadryl and alcohol Just to sleep and still waking up and not being able to go back to sleep. Instead of hearing me she prescribes me mood disorder medication. We live in a world where the art of hearing people as medical professionals doesn’t exist anymore. They are intent on being right and not actually hearing what someone says and helping them. Using their degrees as justification for them not actually treating you or having to listen to what you’re saying. The medication made me wake up struggling to breathe 5 times in a row. Not only that the next day it gave me stroke like symptoms. If someone has trouble sleeping and they tell you the extent of what they are going through and they let you in to help them, you don’t do them the disfavor of not only not listening to them but having a sense of biased prejudice based off of what you “can”comprehend. I wouldn’t trust this lady to treat a dog. There is a big difference between situational issues and real issues like sleep deprivation which could cause other issues. It would have been prudent to treat that and then go from there. I wouldn’t trust this lady to prescribe medication to a healthy dog, she doesn’t know what she’s doing at all. The worst thing is to believe that you know everything and to not be receptive to hear what you’re being told..from there you become stagnant and that comes in the decline in care and misdiagnosis."
