"I recently had the pleasure of getting a tattoo, and it was an amazing experience. I was looking for an artist to do a realistic chest piece of an octopus. I contacted the studio through Yelp and got a reply immediately. I was asked to come in for a consultation. My artist was Taylor. I brought some reference material, and Taylor truly understood what I wanted and how to make the design come alive. I was a bit nervous going into it, as it would be my first tattoo, but Taylor is incredibly skilled and made me feel at ease from the very beginning. I appreciated her honesty as she advised me that what I was asking for would take time and patience. The studio was clean and well-maintained, and Taylor took the time to thoroughly explain the process and answer any questions I had. I saw Taylor's portfolio and was very impressed, which put me at ease to put my trust in her. Taylor did a freehand of the design, then the actual tattooing process began. I was pleasantly surprised at how little pain I felt - it was definitely uncomfortable, but not nearly as bad as I had anticipated. She had a very light hand. Throughout the process, Taylor was incredibly patient and attentive, making sure to take breaks when needed and checking in with me regularly to make sure I was still comfortable. She was also incredibly meticulous, making sure every line and detail was perfect. After several sessions, when the tattoo was finished, I was absolutely stunned with the results. It looked even better than I had imagined, and Taylor had truly brought my vision to life. I didn't expect so much detail and I love how dark the ink is. She did an amazing job using negative space for this piece. I feel honored to have such a beautiful piece of art from Taylor. Overall, my experience getting a tattoo was fantastic.
