"We had a sewer backup damage our house. I won't get too detailed, but we have had a horrible experience with this company. The work charged was not performed. Had I not checked the invoice, I would've paid for thousands of dollars of work that didn't get done. Then, after I pointed them out, I get treated with contempt? The manager Josh is there to collect a check. His demonstrated lack of empathy and brash attitude are less than professional. Not recommended."
"I am renting right now for the time being. We had a huge water issue involving flooding throughout most of the house. Josh came out and was only here to look at my personal contents for Insurance purposes. We have had an electrician, plumber and clean up crew (if that's what you want to call them). The clean up crew left everything in a mess. My insurance Company sent Josh out from Service Masters. He was only here to check out my personal contents. However, he went above and beyond what he was here for. He look at the entirety of the home and found exposed wiring, holes cut out in the walls were they didn't need to be, and the mess the crew left behind. He walked me through where the water actually went through the house and where other faulty wiring was that could create a fire. Of course, I was upset to find the crew that was here wasn't taking proper steps to keep us safe. Josh was great at calming me down getting the owners insurance companies claim number to call them to let them know of faulty wiring for our safety. Looking at the damage of the house wasn't his job, only my destroyed property was. I can't believe he took so much time to explain to me all the issues the other company wasn't addressing. He was professional, kind and dealing with me (which of course I was upset). He calmed me down and said he would handle it with their Insurance Company. This day and age, no one really cares. HE DID! I can't say enough about Josh. He has been the only gem in this entire mess. Doing a job that he wasn't paid to do by looking at the damage to the home when really he was just here to look at my personal contents. If you are looking for a professional that knows this business inside and out, Josh is your guy. He's personable as well. What a great experience I had with him. His Company is very lucky to have such an employee. He was a blessing in a very difficult situation. The others that have been here were not only rude, they didn't do their job. Josh pointed out all of their mistakes. Wow, I still can't believe I had such a great adjuster. Thank you ServiceMaster!"
"The manager literally yelled at me. Had to tell him multiple times to stop talking to me in that manner. They were supposed to send guys to pull up flooring and dry underneath. Never once told us we had to move equipment out of the way, until Josh called and literally yelled at me. Literally yelled at me. Not to mention the tech showed up at 9:22 (I have it on cameras) and he yelling told me he showed up at 845. So he's a liar as well. Horrible company."
"My advice on using this business, get a DETAILED quote. And, I mean itemized on everything they are going to do. The owner seems to be very disconnected from his business. Employees talk about him & other employees to the customer, which is extremely unprofessional. I had to actually press HARD to get the work done I PAID to have done. And, they did a shoddy job. Workers don’t want to do the work when they get to your home. Now, I have white paint on my beautiful forest green front door that I JUST paid to have painted. As well as my front porch. I would recommend Rytech. That’s who I wished I had used."
